I have been a customer of TDS for years. Not because I like them...but because there has been no other choice. The internet service has been painfully slow and you could not get it without "5 Star Phone Service". I have not used a land line for many years, but I was compelled to buy a land line service I had no use for. I called to terminate my service as soon as a new provider became available.......and apparently the service begins at one time and is billed mid month...... so after 2 days AFTER terminating their awful service I get a bill for $127. Insane!!!! How is this nonsense allowed? How is it legal? Who knows....DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING!

I would give 0 stars if they let me... I had an appointment confirmed for today to have DSL service installed. Waited all day for them to not show up. When I called customer service to ask when they would be coming, they said our appointment was cancelled because they no longer install DSL in our area (only fiber). Why would you confirm an appointment for a service you no longer offer? Then I said come out and install the fiber, and was given a date 2 weeks from now. We can not wait that long to have internet with jobs where we work from home. After telling the rep we would have to look elsewhere for internet service, I got a snarky good luck with that. 10/10 WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TDS. I had a very pleasant conversation with Adams cable after all of this and we will have internet in 48 hours. Do not waste your time with TDS.

There rates are extremely high! My internet and phone keeps cutting out and mind you that you can’t have internet without there phone service and my bill keeps climbing every month. I’m up to $135 a month now just for internet and phone.
