I get the chicken pesto pie about once a month. It's always made fresh to order, hot and tasty!

Why are there two businesses named Cousins within 1 minute drive from each other that aren't affiliated? This is massively confusing and can't be good for business. Only been here once and shelves were kinda bare. Sandwich wasn't terrible. I'd go here again mainly to support the local businesses.

I tried a fresh pizza and it was great. this last time i just took a few slices they had premade. The slices were still fresh and good after they reheated them in the oven.

On Thanksgiving Day we noticed the pizza place and stopped by to have a light lunch. The owner prepared it for us and was very welcoming. The sandwiches were delicious. If you're on the road, put this place in your plan when you want to stop for meal.

In less than a week, Cousin's personnel have managed to screw up not one but TWO of my simple sandwich orders. Turkey & Swiss on rye, mayo, onion, salt/pepper and full leaf lettuce. Same order both times. Both fed to dogs. No mayo, no onion, no lettuce, no salt/pepper. Not sure what's happening there and am especially concerned that all the points many of us have accumulated on our Cousin's cards are apparently no longer viable. One employee attempted to explain to me that a "new system" was "coming," but I've seen so sign of this. I've seen no sign of a lot of things that used to make Cousins special. The magical lunch specials are simply gone. When I walk in the door, the place feels sad and lonely. This breaks my heart. Cousins used to be a wonderland of comfort food that was a solid stop for those venturing to their Berkshire hideaways on the weekend and a true godsend for us locals. Hey, New owner! If you can't even make a turkey & swiss on rye with mayo, onion. leaf lettuce, & s/p...find someone who can! If you can't remember to put cucumbers on a salad, find someone who can! And come clean about our Cousin's Cards. Are our points - earned in good faith - simply...gone? Cousin's pizza remains the best you'll find on that stretch of NY 22, but that pizza oven was a relatively recent addition to what was already a beloved neighborhood eatery. I'm a writer, and often don't have the time to make lunch and ordering and enjoying a nice sandwich from Cousins really doesn't seem like a big ask. I'm more than happy to haul it down to Pawling and spend a fortune at McKinney & Doyle for incredibly delicious pre-made meals, soups, and salads. It may cost 3 times as much, but at least I know for a fact that I won't be feeding it to my dogs. Cousin's owes me TWO sandwiches. And I want more than a verbal assurance from your harried pizza guy that all I have to do is come and and inform whomever is there that the sandwich I'm ordering is free. And one last time: a public clarification regarding the status of our Cousins Cards would go a long way to recreating good will. I'm one of your oldest and most consistent customers, but until I'm reimbursed (either money or sandwiches will do) for the last two epic failures, it's Tony's Deli, McKinney & Doyle, or The Villager for me. To those reading this who were considering stopping at Cousins on your way up 22 because you were charmed by older reviews, I advise making a different choice. Unless you don't care that what you get might not be what you ordered, then by all means, Cousins just might be the place for you.
