They start by telling you the home will be reasonable cost and finally it's worth less that the money you put into it. Every material is extra. They took 10k for just plans. Careful giving $10k upfront. I felt scammed

Can't say anything good about this company. Very aggressive getting money. then they turned off refrigerators I lost food they didn't want to compensate me, they left the water on my pipes froze didn't want to compensate me for the flood damaged things. I Don't recommend working with this company they are the worst. #zerostars.

As a builder employed to finish one of these houses after the company and all their subcontractors have left, I can assure you that unless you are short on time and would like to rush a major investment like a home, you should pay for a conventionally-built home. The other one star reviews will tell you everything you need to know.Footnote: I've added this photo as an example. This plywood warped, popped right off, leaving a bulge in the shingles. I'm repairing it and the house isn't even 2 months old. These same 1/2" crown staples are used on all plywood sheathing, both roof and walls.

Maybe some past reviews do not know what it takes to build / assemble new modular homes. The houses were built to my specifications, on time with the materials I chose. Every thing was assembled in a timely and professional manner.T he complex turned out great.

Attended a virtual home tour with Westchester homes and could not be more impressed. Great information delivered by professional and knowledgeable staff. Thanks John, Dave, and Vinnie for a great presentation.

Awful! House is so shoddy. Not well-made and horrible insulation. Made quickly and affordable but not great!

Unfortunately, my entire experience with this company was horrible. As my project was 12 unit apartment building, the awful owners, Jerry and Mike Hatcher, and John Colucci all mislead me and did not have the experience to build this project. Sadly, they did take my deposit (super aggressive), and after 18 months of working with them I never received my stamp plans, lost copious amounts of time and the worse part, they KEPT MY DEPOSIT. My opinion of these 3 is highly unfavorable and I don't recommend anyone working with them, even for a single family. There are better companies out there and I was fortunate enough to find one. I was able to obtain stamped plans in a few months. Overall, don't let them think they are the best and the only game in town. They should be ashamed of themselves!!!!!!!! #westchestermodularsucks #zerostars

I had a Bedford modular put up this August. it's still not finished, the garage roof was open so long the plywood got moldy. I have no jacuzzi tub and nobody knows when that's coming. my sheet rock looks like it was done by a 5 year old and that's not finished yet either. I was told by Westchesters salesman he would be back and we haven't seen him since we gave them the check. I called and emailed Westchester and I got nothing in return. I have one guy that pops in once a week for an hour, I guess maybe we will we move in on 2025 at this rate and I'm paying the mortgage for NOTHING, maybe Westchester should be paying it. beware they work with you until you pay them then poof your no good to them. they sure did request a lot on their end before the house came and they got paid.

I just attended a seminar with John from Westchester Modular Homes and it was very informative. Looking forward to working with this company on our next build. I've worked for a luxury home builder for the past 6 years and am impressed with Westchester's shortened timeframe from start to finish, and the quality of the homes. I like the idea of the homes being build in sections indoors and not being left exposed to the elements during the build. Looking forward to our new home!

Left several messages and emails. Can't get ahold of anyone and it seems they can't be bothered to call anyone back. Too bad really because I purchased a home from them in 2015 and was looking to build again. I can confirm the seam issues that others have posted in the review. My ceilings had very visible seams from where they glue the sheetrock. Not a deal breaker but I suggest sinking your own nails or plastering over it.

They seem to be a good place. I wanted to give less stars put of frustration but to be fair I havent used their service and that would quite frankly just not be cool.According to both their website and one of their employees who answers phone calls for them, there are still factory tours being given when in fact they have been cancelled since covid response measures began being taken. We drove for an hour to go to a factory tour that, contrary to the employee we spoke to over the phone, was no longer a thing.I will say however that the open house models they have on site were very nice and we are still considering use their services.

2 years in and we're still finding poor quality issues the contractor, Benjamin Custom Modular Homes, was responsible for. Fortunately we don't run our heat often because we installed a gas fireplace, but we were away for a few weeks and our heating unit tripped the breaker. The HVAC tech said there was a 50 amp unit and 30 amp fan wired to the box with only a 50 amp wire. He got it running said it was hot. House could have burned down. Too many other issues to mention, but sitting here without heat is the icing on this cake. Do not use BCM if you buy a house from WMH.
