weekend stay: Cabin had a coffee maker, close by to visit Chimney Bluffs State park, Dinner at Skippers Landing after all Saturday thunderstorms watching alot of flooding of many spots. agree the unfortunate smell of sewer was strong enough to notice, pool was clean & a very nice temperature, Sunday trip to Sterling Renaissance Festival made this campsite a good choice.

The campground has gone down hill since sold to the new owners. Very poor on cleanliness and staff is not customer friendly.

We stayed for 3 nights. Our site was a large end site with all freshly cut and trimmed grass and some trees. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the campground along with the friendly people and staff. We gave a lower rating due to the bathrooms still needing a few repairs from last year when we stayed there.

My family of 3 stayed for two nights. Site was 99 and was pull through. Staff at check in said to pull through however I could. When I found the site it was a bit confusing because it didn’t look pull through. Then a friendly neighbor showed me how to drive around to get to the access drive. Site wasn’t very level side to side and was a bit muddy. Nice big site. No issues with electric or sewer. Nice for walking dogs and bike riding. Laundry and bathrooms were clean. Arcade and mini golf were clean. Fishing pond looked gross. Completely covered in green. Jump pad looked nice. Would return during summer to try the pool. Was able to get our empty propane tank filled.

We've been going to this campground for 3 years. It has been bought out by some new company. The previous owners were great. New ownership though is a whole different story. The staff is so unfriendly. All 3 of them. Campground is severely understaffed. The woman in the store is so indifferent and cold. We tried to talk with her, as we were excited to start our vacation, and she made us feel as if we were bothering her. The groundskeeper was patrolling the pool and quick to yell at any kid who jumped in. I understand that it is against the rules but maybe he should learn how to communicate that instead of yelling. His wife also is quick to jump in and yell at people. Even though their children are jumping into the pool. Meanwhile they reside in a camper by the jump pad and let there children use it until 10 o'clock at night. When it's supposed to be closed at 8. It's a shame because the seasonal campers there are so courteous and friendly. New ownership is very unorganized also. If you don't plan on interacting with the staff then I would suggest camping here. Other than that don't bother. There are way better places to spend your money.

camping for the weekend with my family. split a site with my sister. she had her 18' camper and i had my truck tent. was informed i had to pay 30.00 to put my 6.5' tent in the bed of my truck! and then the sewer smell a couple times a day was awful, and the to top it all off, came home with poison ivy. its climbing up almost all of the trees back in the wooded sites and around the ground at the edge of the sites.

Just finished a weekend camping at Lake Bluff with family. Sites w21-24. Sites were large, shaded and private however it was difficult to enjoy time outdoors at our sites because of the gross sewer smell on the sites several times a day. There was a pipe pumping out liquid into the creek on site 24 and I wouldn’t let children play in the creek there. A loud obnoxious band playing on Saturday from 5-9 by the pool was making it difficult to enjoy our own music and social time at our site. Not going back!

The staff is amazing. Very friendly. We did not know the store closed at 4pm on Monday but the staff still allowed us to get some firewood in the evening. Cabin was nice and we will definitely be coming back.

Not much in that area to do. People that stay in the park were nice. Park was overpriced. Park bathrooms need repairs and drains cleaned. Park was very dusty and dirty. Imagine very muddy when it rains. We had to do extensive RV cleaning after a three hour drive home.

I can't say enough good about this campground. People were so friendly, lots of things for the kids to do. Bounce pad, petting zoo, pool, fun horse race, hay ride. Soo many things to see and do and right in the Finger Lakes back yard!

We stayed here from the end of Sept. through the beginning of October. Staff was really nice and helpful. The camp was exceptionally clean, esp. the bathrooms. The water was hot in the showers. The camp has many things to do for family and friends or just for relaxing which is basically what we came to do. We made friends with a lovely couple that had two small dogs so our dog had some new friends as well. I loved that the camp store was fully stocked with all sorts of things you may or may not need while camping. They also had ice cream at the store so we and our dog were enjoying that. The state park Chimney bluffs was about a mile drive away so we took a hike in the woods there. I will def. come back to the camp again.
