The only good bar in the entire neighborhood, and great overall. It's the oldest bar in NYC (aside from one in Wall St.) - You might recognize it from GoodFellas.Worth going out of your way for the history, and worth coming to just because. They play the sports games with the volume on. Have to love it.

My friend had been dying to come here so we took advantage of their BOGO burger offer. The reviews, establishment, history and food did not disappoint. And it's true, the Neirs burger IS the best! Nostalgic to be back in the old neighborhood - I lived about 5 houses away in the '80s and '90s.

My friend and I went out to Neir's Tavern last night to catch the Comedy Show. We really enjoyed our burgers (mine was just a cheeseburger, his was the God Father) and the Belgium style mashed potatoes were delicious! Hate to say it, but the Cosmos were more strong, than tasty. Maybe work on that a bit?? Ambience was good, lively for a Comedy night. I'd go back!

My friend was very excited to finally go and we were not disappointed. BOGO burger offer was a bargain and the food was fabulous. Purposely choosing a Thursday at 2:00pm gave us the run of the place for all the "touristy" gawking a Goodfellas nerd could want.

I'm a frequent visitor to Neir's Tavern. They have lots of monthly events and there's never a cover charge! You may walk in a stranger, but you'll leave as a friend!

My brother had a fun birthday dinner with his friends! The food and service were excellent. The hospitality was top-notch. They love the low-key, friendly ambience of Neir's Tavern, even calling it their new favorite neighborhood spot! You definitely have some new regulars coming your way. Thanks so much, Neir's! ?

That is a classic place. Had an awesome time. The service is good. Food is amazing there. Drinks are perfect. Would go again. Family type atmosphere. The place was in the movie goodfellas.

I was expecting a little different place. Food was good. Just thought it would be more. We liked the food. The place was packed when we arrived. We didn't mind waiting for our table. We had a drink and we watched them hurry to get us a table. Much appreciated. The bartenders were very nice and the waitress was great. They did take care of us for everything we asked for. I was expecting more of a dinner menu instead of a burger and fries. I had the salmon, which was decent size and cooked well. But it was good. Kind of expensive for what you get. Mainly paying for the atmosphere.

Had a great family bday party at the jazz brunch on Saturday. That bartender in suspenders makes great drinks and the burgers and food were excellent. Great old neighborhood bar with tons of history makes a warm and inviting atmosphere. Went back again for the bingo and book signing! Great Stuff going on here!
