My boyfriend and I recently purchased my wedding ring from here and am so thrilled I stumbled upon the piece! It was on Pinterest that I first saw a similar ring Russell had created and after doing some digging found Erie Basin's online store. I of course was hesitant purchasing a diamond online having not seen it first, so contacted Russell who took the time to discus my concerns via phone. Once the purchase was made, the resizing took only hours and he shipped it to me overnight. Everything was super smooth and stress less and the ring is exactly what I wanted- vintage, simple, classic. Erie Basin has a customer for life in me!”

“Biggie's is great! The owners are super lovely and run it themselves. Their dog, Biggie, is super cute. Often there's people playing chess outside- it's pretty rad.
Inside is a vintage lovers paradise, or more specifically, a vintage smokers dream. They specialize in refurbishing old lighters, ash trays, and smoking sets. Trust me, they're awesome. If you're not a smoker, they have old magazines, game sets, and old-style soda. If you'd like to become a smoker but are scared, they have candy cigarettes. Sick!
Anyway, I like to pop by whenever I'm in the neighborhood. You should pop in, too.”
“Had a fantastic experience with Stuart at White Trash. Was walking past their store mid COVID, gazed through the window and loved what I saw. Went on their site and inquired about a LeRoy Neiman sketch, within two days Stuart had responded to me, we made the transaction and he delivered to my apartment building in the lower east side.”

The owners are incredibly friendly, the store is spacious with abundant natural light, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Unlike typical antique stores, Salt Lizard's curated selection eliminates the digging through dusty junk without having a "Do not touch!" vibe. The prices are within reach, offering a range of fine antiques from furniture to tableware and rugs. A gem for antique enthusiasts!”

It is an antique store, jammed full of treasures... mostly glass objects, some larger furniture display cases (all filled with things), rhinestone jewelry, occasionally some unique clothing and much more for you to discover. The store has been there for nearly 50 years and Betty Jo, the owner, is almost always there to answer any questions and tell you where she got everything. (Her memory is amazing, for a 94 year old, plus she's just a delight.) I suggest stopping by and just browsing for awhile, because there's lots to see and discover... at very reasonable prices. As they always say: When in doubt, check it out.”
“This bookstore found me. And every since then it’s been calling me back. I walked in and was met with the smell of the alphabet and maps from every country in the world. I was allowed to peruse the first floor without being pressured and that felt good because walking in can be intimidating.Everyone there was helpful and I was directed to the second floor by means of a turn of the century elevator. Maps on this floor were organized smartly and you must ask for assistance before taking them off the shelf.I would encourage you to check out their website so you have an idea of what you are looking for before arriving. They also have volumes online that may not be in store at the current time but they have access to from their warehouse.”

“I went in here & felt foolish living nearby and never coming going in. Sonam, the owner was very nice and even showed me how to using the scrying bowl(look it up & see what it does) they have lots of clothes from Tibet & surrounding countries. Best of all, it was all low priced & affordable. Lots of sculptures from miniature to very large in shapes of animals,Buddha and even Julius Caesar & Lincoln! Incense & their holders,sage, jewelry,crystals. But there’s too many too list and my pics didn’t capture everything. So drop by if you can you won’t be disappointed.”
