What a joke of a store it has become. I'm not allowed to buy 2 ps5 controllers because I didn't have a membership. Since when is this necessary. The employee there was helpful. Not bashing him at all.

Horrible experience with Andrew the day after Christmas. He refused to honor posted sale prices, refused to look at me or acknowledge that they might be in the wrong. He insulted me in font of my wife and children telling me I should get educated then maybe get a job at GameStop. I’ll never be back there.

Looks like they tore the carpet up recently and decided all the random black skid marks on the tiles wasn't worth cleaning or fixing. It seems as if this store is on it's last legs. They barely have any used games for sale, the atmosphere feels generally uninviting, and the store overall feels rundown. I've been to other Gamestops in Queens and this is easily the worst one. Avoid.

Worst experience ever here. I went one day and I was told the system was down for returning games and systems. I return following day the staff member says they cant accept a trade in because I hadnt logged out of my accounts and restored the system to like new. However, the costumer service agent told me that incorrect that actually delays a trade in somehow. I returned a third time and the store gates were down saying they were going on break until 3pm and it was about 2pm. I then drove to the Astoria location and I was then told their system was down for trade ins. I drove back to Woodside and waited until 3pm til they reopened. Upon entering the dude at the register glimpsed into my bag said he wasnt going to take any of it. He dismissed me and I asked for a manager he said that the manager only comes in every other Saturday and he doesnt know the manager name. He was extremely rude which the guy during the week warned me that the guy on weekends likes giving a hard time. That part was in fact true. He dismissed me and refused to take the trade in despite two days before it was acceptable except that I hadnt logged off the system when i returned it. This place is the worst and to top it off he was talking to me in this disrespectful manner in front of my wife and children.

Employees are always with a bad attitude,I went Saturday, and the guy said it's close at5:30pm and the sign says they close a 10pm,then I went to another gamestop that is a little bit far from my house,and when I came back I see the store open again,that is the reason nobody want to go to gamestop anymore,I love the store but the employees don't treat customers with respect.another thing,they never answer the phone,I was trying to call from my house and they never answer the Phone,I went there and I saw the guy from the parking lot with no customer and ignoring the phone,AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!

Store is horrible, was closed randomly for a hour at 2 PM. Visited multiple times for trade in and was given different information every time and turned away. Associate was unprofessional and refused to provide manager information.

I never never enjoy writing bad reviews, but this is ridiculous. I drove with my family to this location, got there 7:40 and it was already closed. It took 10 minutes for someone from inside the store to show up and this employee looked at us and said it was closed, we were polite saying we got there under working hours, he ignored us and kept closing the store.
I definitely don’t recommend this kind of treatment to customers, I was there to buy a game for my kid, truly unacceptable.
