Love this zero waste store. Their spices are so fresh! And they have fantastic options to choose from (dates, flours, oils, pastas, nuts, personal care, and so much more) The service was great. I loved that we can fill our own containers. I know I’ll be frequenting this spot.

This place has such an amazing selection, some of the freshest and high-quality spices you can get, and the absolute nicest staff. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Finally, a store that lets me buy nutritional yeast in large quantities, spices I rarely use in very small quantities, and everything in between. Legumes, grains, oils, coffee, flour, pasta, etc. A very welcome addition to the neighborhood.

the perfect addition to sunnyside! they have a great selection of grains, legumes, herbs, spices, flours, pastas, oils, and more at reasonable prices. their zero waste mission is noble and needed in these parts of queens where we lag behind compared to other boroughs.

Great zero-waste store with lots of choices for bulk foods. Will definitely be coming here to fill up my olive oil jar so I don’t need to keep recycling new bottles. The person behind the counter was friendly and helpful :)

Amazing zero-waste store! They just opened in November 2023. Obviously it’s a little pricy but that’s the tradeoff for being plastic-free. You can bring your own containers or buy theirs to get nuts, grains, legumes, flours, coffees, chocolates, pastas, spices, cleaning products and toiletries. They have have some natural kitchen accessories and a water machine for large jugs of filtered water. * It’s on Skillman even though it looks like it’s on 50th on the map.*

I like the concept of the store where you can get seeds + oils and other items, put them in jars or containers. Very earth friendly and recyclable. The person who worked here at the cash register was very friendly and knowledgeable. He stated that the hours would be extended in January. It's about time that we get a store like this in the neighborhood.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood. It's very well thought through and organized store. Service is on point owners go above and beyond to explain and help customers. Selection of nuts, oats, flour , spices and sweet treats are available you bring your own jars and fill them with goodies. If you don't have your own jar the store offers paper bags for $0.15 . I purchased macadamia nuts, Brazil nuts and Everything but the bagel cashews that I sampled at the opening. I'm looking forward to being my own bottle and try alkaline water . If you haven't stopped by Seed+ Oil you are missing out. Cheerio!

I have heard about theses types of stores for a while and have been to one in PA. It's actually really a fantastic concept. These types of stores try to eliminate waste. Its a package free store. You can buy almost anything from candy, nuts, flour, cooking oils, seasonings, pastas, plus a lot more. How it works is you can bring in your own bottles or containers or you can purchase containers from the store like a starter kit and you will be able to reuse the containers again for all future purchases. You select what you would like to buy they minus the weight of the container and they charge you for the food item that you would like to buy. When you run out of the items that you purchased just bring back the containers and just buy products again. The best part is you can buy the exact amount that you would need so there is zero waste. If this concept takes off in this neighborhood it will really change the way we shop.
