Great retro vibe. Nice to have a record players and a few records in the room and the making for S’mores provided to use in the fire pit. Ask for a room not adjacent to the reception area as music can be a bit loud till 10

This is the place!! Central location, great furnishings, clean, nice hot shower..... huge room, fire pit with smores, corn hole, minutes from downtown Woodstock, in the middle of everything. Skiing, kingston, hiking, restaurants are all within half an hour of this hotel. Very well maintained. Highly recommend.

Had an amazing stay here - easy contactless check-in, lovely fire pit (and they gave us a personal smores kit!), and really nice staff. I even left my boots in the hotel and they offered to mail them back to me before I even realized they were gone. Really exceptional service and very cute place.

Such an amazing experience here. Our Airbnb was canceled the day of our trip to Woodstock. Hotel Dylan to the rescue! The staff and manager were so accommodating and nice. They had a room available and then we were able to switch the two-story two-bedroom cottage for the next 2 nights. We loved both. The rooms are so cute and the cottage was like an Airbnb with a full kitchen. The amenities at the hotel are awesome. They have a bar that’s open till about 6 pm, a pool, fire pits, ping pong tables and more. There’s a cute cafe on the premises that’s open on the Fri-Sun that makes a fab latte. There’s also a Mexican restaurant that shares the parking lot with Hotel Dylan that had great tacos and margs. Throughout our stay the staff was very helpful and hospitable. A few days we left, we got a call that we left a personal item at the hotel, which they shipped directly to us the day they found it. We loved everything about our stay and can’t rave about this place enough!

The hotel is immaculate yet funky in a great way. Lots of details considered — from the fixtures to the bedroom to the record player (I don’t know if I’ve ever played one of those), to the spacious room set up, to the shampoos provided..: it all feels really good and well planned.Loved the board games in the lobby, the pool, the fire pit.Enjoyed nearby biking and restaurants.Nearby activities: Fantastic bike trail nearby (but to get to the trail head — it’s a 2.5 mile drive along a highway).Lots of area hiking from the easy to the north east

My family and I (with our 15 month old in tow) stayed at the Hotel Dylan and had an incredible time! Everything is obviously so carefully well thought out and planned from the small details like the 60’s musician themed rooms to the fire pit and s’mores kits given at check in. My daughter even loved the egg chairs in the lobby! Was a good mix of being centrally located and close to Woodstock and Boiceville with access to incredible restaurant and hiking options but also has the amenities if you just want to hang out at the hotel for the afternoon - we enjoyed the pool. Highly recommend - we will definitely be coming back!

I can't even describe how much I love this hotel - it's so unique and has so much charm. The service was impeccable. The rooms were very clean and the beds were so damn comfortable. They do little touches that made it feel extra special, like leaving s'more kits on the door and weather forecast for the weekend with hiking recommendations. The pool was so great too and the restaurant and caffe were both great. My only complaint was that our room was on the first floor outside of the fire pit and you can hear everything going on outside, next door and above you. If you're a light sleeper like me, I def recommend ear plugs (which I luckily had but didn't block all of the noise) and requesting a second floor off center room. I've traveled a lot and this was hands down one of my all time favorite hotels.

Hotel Dylan is a small charming hotel with some nice amenities on site. It would be a great place to stay with a group of friends. The rooms were clean. The Ashokan Rail Trail is nearby (only a 5 min drive) and is a great place for a morning

I stayed at the hotel this past weekend. And I loved and hated my stay. The hotel has a contactless check-in and check- out process which was seamless. We recieved a detailed email with instructions and pro tips. Upon arriving we were wowed by the ambience of the property and the tasteful room decor. Our room was spotless, and we had a bag of goodies for making smoores at the fire pit. That was a nice touch. We quickly headed out to make the best of what Woodstock had to offer. After dinner at the on-site restaurant, we headed to the lobby and enjoyed some really good live music and jam session. We made our way to the Joplin, our room with a selection of records in tote, the plan was to enjoy some music. But our record player was broken and we gave up trying to enjoy more music in suite. What made our stay really unbearable was the loud noise that seemed to be coming from a generator on the property, the sounds of the cars going by on Route 28, and the voices of the guests in the adjoining rooms. My husband and I tried desperately to sleep, but we were miserable. The pillows didn't help our case either. And after a night with very little rest we had to hurry for checkout at 11am.For a place which pays attention to so many details, I mean everything is tastefully thought out, it's a shame noise wasn't an item they addressed or tabled.

Just want to start with it's seriously such gorgeous/ cute hotel. The staff are SO nice and upon arrival they even give you a little s'mores kit! Rooms are clean and beautifully decorated BUTWe booked a 2 bedroom and when we arrived we had no idea our room had a door that connected to the room next to us. We didn't think much of it until it was 11pm and we were trying to sleep and the people in the room next to us were playing music and talking/laughing so incredibly loud that if i didn't know any better i would've said they were IN our room. We could hear every single word they said, not even like it was a muffled loudness. And for $400 a night, we just felt that was kinda crazy. And I'm not one at all to complain or be confrontational AT ALL but this was kinda of unbearable to the point where i almost felt i had to go next door as say something. So this review is not at all to speak badly on hotel Dylan, we may have just been unlucky to be stuck next to a loud bunch & i know i saw other reviews stating this is a old building which i understand , but just consider this when booking that the walls are paper thin if you're someone who may not be able to tolerate this
