“Used the West Islip location to cater some of my Christmas Day offerings. The Teriyaki Skirt Steak was fantastic and abundant. Will definitely be using them again. Also, ordered the cranberry Walnut salad from them which exceeded expectations. “Great choice of cooked foods. I especially enjoy the diced grilled chicken to mix with salads, add to sandwiches or warm up with potatoes or rice and vegetables. I put a little salad dressing on the grilled chicken to add flavor. The Turkey meatloaf dinner,stuffed cabbage and butternut squash with spinach and cranberries is quite delicious, too!”

“Good local supermarket that has basically everything you could need. The prices are slightly higher then the large food market chains, but the convenience is awesome.
They also have a pretty large beer selection and a full deli which is nice.”
“This the best supermarket in the area by far. I spoke with the manger Grant today after seeing them power washing the shopping carts. Grant told me they do this once a week. It’s the cleanest and fare priced supermarket in the area. I’m also a big fan of them hiring high school kids to work the afternoon shift.”

“Most products are fresh & affordable. However had a bad experience recently where I saw a box of mold strawberries still displayed. I bought 6 boxes of strawberries, the one box I already spotted did not come home with me. However, after I opened the box to start to prep it, that’s when I noticed the mold hiding. I had to take another trip back to the store to return it.”

“Mostly a good store with varied selection of unexpired products, fresh products. Cashiers and help desk are friendly. However, the fish counter person on 8/30 in the early evening soured the experience. Their attitude around simple questions made the interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. Why staff a counter with someone seemingly determined to be unhelpful?”

Parking lot can be hectic at times especially with the food truck and peddlers selling rugs, lawn statues, shaved ice and cut fruit along the perimeter.
People inside are friendly and helpful and the lines if there are any move very quickly.
Fresh produce really is a high point here especially for Hispanic or South American cuisine.”
“Always have fresh produce- juice bar and hot food bar is amazing - I grew up in copiague and have seen so much change - I was skeptical going into the store thinking I didn't know what to expect. I've now been shopping there for a few years . The staff there I find accommodating when asking questions about different produce I've never seen before. I also find the cashiers extremely friendly. Customer service is important . I do believe the manager is doing a great job . My only gripe is the parking lot . That they can not change . You just have to be careful when navagating .”
“I don’t usually write reviews, but this Whole Foods deserves one. Every time I walk in, it feels like the produce aisle is trying to show off — the apples are stacked cleaner than my life, the greens look like they were picked 8 minutes ago, and somehow the store even smells expensive in a good way.
What surprised me most, though, is the staff. I asked one of the employees where to find a certain dairy-free yogurt and not only did he walk me to it, he explained the difference between the brands like he was giving a TED talk. You don’t get service like that at many places anymore.
The prepared foods section is my weakness — the hot bar hits every time, and whoever seasons the salmon deserves a raise. Even the checkout feels smooth; the lines move fast and the cashiers are actually friendly, like they want you to have a good day.
Prices are higher, sure, but the quality feels higher too. If grocery stores had tiers, this one is definitely top-shelf. I leave feeling like I shopped for my future self, not just my fridge.

“My nearest store, is Bethpage. I live in Hicksville. I like the salads from the deli. But it would be nice, if you would cut the celery a little smaller. Because some of the celery pieces are to big, and I have to cut them smaller each time before I can eat them. I'm talking about the crunchy vegetables salad. When I visit my son in Wading River, and buy the crunchy vegetable salad there, the celery is cut a lot finer. Maybe you should get a better chopping machine in Bethpage, to cut the celery pieces a little smaller.”
