Such a fun camp that offers so many activities for the kids. My daughter had a blast this summer. Every staff member is friendly and seems to really enjoy their job.

My child went here for preschool and it was such an awesome experience. Miss Nicole is so beyond awesome and made such a wonderful impact on my son. He had so much fun at school everyday and he learned so much. Brookhaven day camp preschool is such a unique place and I will definitely be sending my other children here as well. Thank you all for a great year!

My daughter attended the UPK program at Brookhaven country day camp/preschool. Her teacher (Miss Nicole) was kind and had a heart of gold for all her students. My daughter learned so much over the 10 months of school. Miss. Nicole was fun and loving and really helped my daughter to grow in areas that she was struggling in. My daughter loved going to school here and always looked forward to going back the next day. She loved her teachers and all the friends she made. She now attends the summer camp and is having a blast!

I'm a former camper and now my children get to experience the amazing place that is Brookhaven Country Day Camp. There are so many activities including American Red Cross swim lessons! My children loved their counselors and are counting down the days until camp to start again! We love BCDC!

Brookhaven Country Day Camp is the absolute best camp on Long Island. As a parent our top priority is the safety of our children. When my children ( just recently aged out) attended this camp I never questioned their safety or how they were treated at the camp by employees and campers. They always came home happy, exhausted, and looking forward to their next day of camp. The supervisors are all caring and compassionate and they enjoy having fun with the children. My children loved their counselors, their group leaders, all the fun things that the camp has to offer and especially the pools. They have made friendships with the campers that have lasted throughout the years and as a parent we all know the importance of our children having good friends. I highly recommend Brookhaven Country Day Camp. 10 stars !!!

If I could give negative stars, I would. They are all rude, two faced, and do not care whatsoever about their employees only their own self interest. Not to mention, the employees trusted to take care of your kids are also all kids!!! I would not send my children there if you paid me.

It’s been a terrible year at that camp for my son. Lack of supervision. My son was bullied in front of the staffs and nothing was done. I spoke to the camp management and sent email to them. They took a report and nothing was done. They never even took him to see the nurse when he was bullied by the kid who hurt him in front of the swimming staffs. I would not recommend this camp to anyone. They take your hard earned money and do absolutely nothing to prevent harassment when it comes to your kids.

Karen is disgustingly rude. When she was my daughter’s teacher she would smile in your face and the second you turn around, she had something smart to say. She makes faces and talks about other staff, parents and kids right in front of the children. My would come home and tell me new things she heard everyday which is completely unacceptable. So glad my kids were done with this place after Lois stepped down because it’s been nothing but a nightmare to date! PLEASE LOOK ELSEWHERE, don’t even consider this place! The buildings need to be completely renovated/updated as they look and smell like an old cottage! STAY AWAY!

Some great people keep this camp going…but the pool is unsafe, the archery range is littered with ticks, and staff doesn’t get a break or very good pay at all. Overall I would not send my children to this camp after seeing behind the scenes. It needs new facilities and plumbing to continue operating safely.

.y granddaughter loves it here ! Here's my problem parents put kids in here because they have to work they have jobs? I can understand a parent day at the end but to have so many days parents are invited to come watch dance. Gymnastics singing. If they can go kid is thrilled wat about those parents that can't. How does it make kid feel that the others parents are there but their parents are not ? & It makes parents feel horrible that their kid is upset and feels. Neglected the parent is upset and feels terrible it's a nice idea but should have one at end or two. But this is a problem for a lot of parents

I went here as a child, and now years later my daughter went here for a few summers. She loved it, except when there was an issue between a camper in her group calling her racially motivated names (age 7/8) and the camp suspended the child for 1 day and didn't do much to keep them separated or have the other girl appologize to my daughter. But..in general the place is accepting of all people I just didn't like the way they handled THAT situation... But I would recommend it to people as a great summer camp. Lots of activities, pools, gymnastic shows dance shows, they make you feel like family. Just need to work on how they handle certain situations. Great summer fun for the kids tho!

My son had a wonderful experience at this preschool. I love that the kids spent the amount of the time they did outside and the classroom setting was so fun for them. My son is a very shy boy who doesn’t love change so it was a tough start, but Ms.Tracy helped us work through this through the entire school year! Such an understanding, reassuring and kind woman. I couldn’t have asked for a better teacher. Not only that, but my son developed such strong relationship with all three teachers (ms.Tracy, mrs.epi and ms.holly). This was a school experience he will never forget. He still asks about them everyday!!

All 3 of our children went through the UPK program at Brookhaven, our last just last year and nothing but great things to say! They were exposed to so much outside of a typical classroom environment, learning through play and movement and were happy to go to school every single day!

This place was horrible. I will never let my son come here or recommend this place to any of my fellow co workers. The staff were rude and yelled at my mother for trying to get to my son in respiratory distress. They do not know how to deal with pre teens. The counselors are rude. You're better off with the YMCA. Now they are trying to get more money out of me also after 1199 paid them plenty and told me all expenses were covered. Horrible experience.
