Was the best storage place in Suffolk! Long time customer and I came back to get that same exceptional service. However, I am extremely disappointed by what they have done to me when I needed some empathy and compassion. I was told that the first month was free....sounds great right?! Wrong....I rented it unit on the 21st of the month and after only 9 days of free storage I was charged full price on July 1st. So there was no free month it was a free 9 days...... just when I went to pay my bill in August I learned that I now owe 2 months not one? When we went to make the payment we were then told that we could not pay unless we paid the entire bill in full of now $637.00. And that if I didnt pay in full I would risk losing all of my belongings? There was no one that would even care or accept any type of payment and that as my bill keeps climbing after only a month and a half of time my stuff was at risk of being auctioned off???????? After only a month and a half. No one cares no one has offered any solution or accommodation to help my family and that is just disgusting. Even me being a returning customer i got no options to try and figure out my account and come up with a solution to help figure out my bill. I know most people would say well it's your bill you should pay it......and I would agree if everything was normal......but things were not okay. I am having a rough time right now. I have to leave my home unexpectedly due to my landlord not meeting town code and not moving forward making the necessary repairs I have no other choice but to relocate without warning before the town condemns my home. To make matters worse my child is sick and diagnosed with leukemia and I am forced to pay expensive medical bills and co-pays for her treatment. When I explained this to the employees at Devon Self Storage and told them that I am being forced to choose between my daughter's life or saving my belongings and was desperately trying to make some type of payment to secure my stuff from being auctioned off......they told me that there is nothing they can do. They could not work with me and take any payment to ensure I don't lose my life's possessions? There is nothing they can do to work out and agreement. There is nothing they can do to assist me during this really difficult time? But they wanted to be sure that I got a copy of the bill????? No help no empathy no one willing to assist me in making a payment arrangement? Nothing.........that is what they did for me.....nothing. And I am not even sure if my stuff is still there or if it has been sold after only 2 months of time? I called and I kept in contact and I offered to work something out...... but I got nothing. I pray that none of their family members even go through something like this bc it's absolutely sick to treat people this way and not show any type of compassion or care for what their customers are going through. I could have went to a bunch of other places that were far cheaper and yet I went back to them and this is what I have been put through? I don't understand and no one at the corporate office wants to return my calls to tell me how this is okay to treat your valued customers? Do not rent a unit at this store....... they don't follow what they advertise, don't care what you might be going through and won't accept any payment I not in full even after explaining what I was going through and why it was a life or death choice for not making payment in full. Go anywhere else but here so you don't get the same result. Very sad..... I have things in my unit that can never be replaced like my brother and aunts ashes and pictures and family heirlooms. This is just wrong on every level. I'm sick over this nightmare. And not one person seems to care.

It was a great experience! First time ever getting a storage unit and the process was simple and easy. All my questions were explained, and answered! I left very happy and my husband was also extremely happy with the unit as well! Perfect size and location that we needed!

I have gone through 2 + units, I’m on my third, needed to downsize due to financial constraints. Corey has been nothing but a good positive person to associate with. Due to my disability he has always got me a unit close to the office and the exits. In addition his co worker is a very supportive worker who has much knowledge of the business. Corey and his associate are top notch. I’m very pleased with everything that Devon Storage offers.

Thank you, Corey, for giving us a tour of Devon Self Storage. The interior is spotless, and the grounds outside are kept clean and organized. We were looking for an RV spot, and all the other storage facilities we visited were a mess, with trucks and RVs parked all over. Devon Storage was the complete opposite. We feel that our property will be safe, and we can rest easy knowing it's behind the gates of Devon Storage Facility.
