Love this place, so many memories of my Uncle Freddy Bouffard running his trains. Couldn't wait for my turn for a ride, such great organization.

Just good, wholesome and inexpensive fun for families (a rarity on Long Island these days). Thank you for offering this, Long Island Live Steamers! Beautiful ride through the Pine Barrens. My son, husband and I all had a blast! Only downside is that this hidden gem isn't so hidden anymore and can get quite crowded, with large lines to ride.

My son loved it. Schedule is tough because they're not open to the public so much, but make sure to put this one on your list.

Awesome spot. It’s a must go if you have little ones that love trains. Or if you have little ones in general.

Cool spot with tickets by donations :) there's one more week left to the season! Check the website for operating times! Get there early since it gets pretty crowded quickly and it'll be hard finding parking spots if you're not the first ones there. We got there after 10:30am and parked the last few spots). The line was pretty long even on a gloomy day. It was drizzling a bit and rained eventually last weekend so they stopped operating when it started pouring. Pretty fun to check out for families especially with kids! Do expect longer wait time on a nice day and they won't let you use your phone for pictures or videos on the ride. 4-4.5 stars for me but bumping it up to 5 stars to support local nonprofits.

Amazing experience at this wonderful place. Staff is friendly and rides are very fun. Children and adults alike will enjoy the train ride. The Blue ticketed High Line is for children 4+ years and over 40 inches tall and Red ticketed Ground Line is for all ages. Train rides are complimentary but donations are suggested. There are porta potty’s on site. The ticket booth line is short or none existent. Train ride line was long but very quick moving. You can go on the train rides as many times as you like.

First time here with kids and we had an awesome time. We went on it 2x. Each ride is about 6 mins... it's free but they take donations to get tickets. I think my hubby has the best time out of all of us To make it even more sweeter.. we had ice cream after.
