Ever since I moved to Yonkers several years ago, I have depended on the trustworthy mechanics at AAMCO on Hudson Street.
Fifty years ago, when I was a child, my dad ran a mechanic shop next door to our home. I learned to fully appreciate owner operated businesses, as I remember the long hours he worked to service his customers cars; I remember the sacrifices he made to keep them happy.
It is truly a great pleasure of mine to support a locally owned business. I have found AAMCO to be very reliable, and sensitive to my needs as one of their valued customers. I highly recommend them.

I received great service and care at AAMCO. The owner Milad and his team were responsive, and did a thorough check on my car to determine what the problem was. The final price was more than fair, and they even offer financing options for those that need it. Highly recommend!

Amazing and fair mechanics. Joe and his team, work with insurance and warranty companies seamlessly and make the auto mechanic experience not so dreadful. Even on repairs that I've had to pay for out of pocket, the pricing was beyond fair, and the work was done as quickly as possible. Additionally, they are always available and willing to answer questions and explain any issues with the car in layman's terms, which says a lot. I used to bring my Dodge Durango to the dealership on White Plains. That was a mistake. Aside from the horrible customer service and the dealership being over priced i will never go back. I have gotten my transmission serviced here as well as my fuel pump replaced for a reasonable price as well as expedited service. Say egg Auto body has gotten me back in the road quick. I waited a day and a half for the guy to respond. He told me a time to call backand never picks up the phone. His name is Joe and seems to be the only person answering the phones. Why have people wait knowingly to don't have the time or space and I live only 5 mins away.

AAMCO transmission's estimate for repair of my transmission was extremely expensive and not worth the vehicle. I can only imagine they do good work, but I'd rather buy another used running vehicle for that kind of money.
