On Saturday, June 25th, Lee Romero taught a workshop focusing on a technique called cross hatching. It turns out Mr.Romero is a gifted teacher in addition to his many talents. The atmosphere was comfortable and he was delightful to listen to. We sat at a long table and it seemed we all hung on every word he said.It was a hot day, but the gallery was cool and airy. It was an uplifting experience and I hope he returns to teach again.

Kinda off putting experience, I known people who worked there. And they do not treat their workers with respect. They overwork and underpay them. And the owners haven’t a clue about what is actually in with the community. It’s just a place for the geriatric’s of their clique to hang around before it’s time to go back to their homes.

It’s a lovely little not-for-profit art gallery that features works of local emerging artists in Westchester County. Nice people.

A lovely, intimate art gallery serving the local community in downtown Yonkers. Full disclosure...I'm the gallery director.
