They came highly recommend by fellow plumbers as the one to contact for the work to be done right. The repairs took several days of extensive labor and technical knowledge all performed in a courteous and informative manner. From estimate, to work, to price the Commisso brothers were competent and reassuring.The recommendations we received proved correct and we can now add our unqualified recommendation .

They quickly identified, and efficiently resolved, a major drainage liability on our property which had not been noticed by any of the 20-plus drainage contractors we'd met with over 35-plus years in our house, resulting in multiple floodings despite all the sump pumps, French drains, etc. we'd installed over that period. As a result, our drainage situation is radically improved -- the sump pumps barely even had to kick in when we had 6 inches of pelting rain this week. Also, they are very courteous, very reasonably priced, very conscientious and meet all their deadlines.

I highly recommend C. Commisso & Sons Contractors for excavating and repairing or replacing water and sewer lines. They were professional, personable, responsive, and reasonably priced. Their work is outstanding. They're a family-operated business that cares and gets the job done right the first time. Hopefully, you won't need them but if you or anyone you know needs this kind of work, call them. You won't be disappointed. C. Pete and his brothers saved us! Upon buying and moving into our first home, two weeks after closing, the main sewage line collapsed and the basement flooded with sewage. It was a traumatic experience and we were heart broken watching the walls and floors be covered in sewage and not being able to live in the house we worked so hard to buy! The night of the flood, we shut off the water, left the house in shambles, and went to stay with family who had running water and less poop in their basement (LOL, at least I can laugh about it now!). I called Pete at midnight in tears looking for help and answers. I explained what happened and he walked me through what the next steps should probably be, all at mindnight on a Saturday night no less! They came out to see the damage first thing and explained what needed to happen. They used a camera in the pipes to show us what was going on & pinpoint where to dig. We were all hoping they wouldn't have to dig down so deep to find the collapse, but of course with our luck it was 12 feet into the ground. They replaced the entire pipe so hopefully this isn't an issue again & were so kind throughout the whole process. They worked late on the last day in the rain so we could move back into the house ASAP, and I honestly can't thank them enough. Things like this are scary especially for us as new homeowners, because you're spending quite a bit of money on something you cant see and really don't understand, but I trusted them completely. If anyone has to go through this don't hesitate to call the Commisso brothers!

My husband and I just bought a house and after just two months in, our basement flooded. We were so upset. Commisso and Sons swooped in and came to our rescue. They did a wonderful job excavating our property with barely an ounce of damage to our lawn! They came early everyday and worked long hours and were done with a fairly large project in just 4 days. They were courteous, respectful, professional and affordable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of services. My husband and I (and baby on the way) thank you for your hard work and diligence.

They worked quickly, efficiently and cleanly. They had to excavate under a porch. Where others wanted to cut into the porch, they did the work without disturbing the porch and left everything as they found it when done. Plus they provided the best estimate. They are easy to work with and very pleasant.
