“This was my first time visiting Macedonia Baptist Church. It is a beautiful and spacious edifice with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The ushers and other members on duty, were all very friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately, I was there for a public viewing of a popular Mt. Vernon resident, prior to her funeral service the following day. The live streamed service broadcasted from Macedonia, was carried out in a manner that was exceptionally befitting in memory of the deceased, and for her family, friends, colleagues, loved ones, and fans.”

“The church is incredibly peaceful and spiritual. The homilies are some of the best I’ve heard and I love the deep throaty bells that announce mass and the coming of our Lord!”

“Wonderful service and the preacher is an excellent teacher. The choir sung lots of beautiful songs and the band is great. It was a full house, but they have a large balcony. See Bishop Omega on YouTube Webcast also.”

“It's been a minute since I've been there, but it's always a great time. It's always so humbling to see everyone smiling, and I love seeing Rabbi Mara and Billy, as well as Cantor Johnathan. The bar mitzvahs (especially mine lol) are fun, and it's a great community. HIGHLY recommend trying it.”

“I'm so happy to be back home with Grace Baptist Church. The services, sermon/preaching, music, events, programs, baptism, and communion are so wonderful, rich, and fulfilling especially feeling God's presence during them. The people here are so living, nice, and spirit filled. I definitely want to become a better Christian serving others and His church body.”

“"Serving people who serve the world." This small, locally-founded church in East Harlem is focused on serving people who serve the world, from non-profit youth and criminal justice directors to for-profit financial real estate investors. There is a way to serve the world through every vocation or role we have. Metro is open to people of all faith or religious backgrounds and at the same time centered on knowing Jesus Christ. Some of the ways Metro engages with the local community is through partnering with local small businesses through Cash Mobs and East Harlem Buy Local initiatives. My family found this church after moving from California four years ago and have really found ourselves planting our roots in the community through this church. I started volunteering here after a couple of years and now am an associate pastor here. Happy to review this church as my 500th Yelp Review!”

“If you are looking for a church I recommend it highly. Warm, caring, accepting of EVERYONE - here you can connect with God and not feel that you are unworthy. Don't know why some people refer to it as the "gay church". Members of this church are diverse - including LGBTQ people, those from other countries, everyone is welcome - our differences are what make us great. Come and see for yourself. Sundays at 10am.”

“The Greenville Community Church is a fine place in Edgemont on Ardsley road to enjoy, not only for their church services but for other things. They have classes held for the cummunity. They have meeting rooms. You can hold parties there as well and have them catered. There is ample parking. It is quiet and secluded up on a Hill. Many community members know of the advantages of this church. They have many programs for young people and adults as well. Go to their website and see the selection. Their nursery school is well known. The selection of on going activities sets a pretty diverse standard. Give them a call, have a function there, and enjoy what they have to offer. It is truly a peaceful experience. When I was a young boy, I played tennis at the 2 tennis courts that were next to this building. That was in the 1970s and now there's just a bunch of trees on those tennis courts. What a shame.”
