Ignore what the other reviewer said. This CVS is never clean OR stocked. It’s like the early days of COVID in here all the time. Speaking of time, don’t waste yours by coming in here, go to the one further up Bronx River Rd, the one on Gramatan Ave, or the one in Bronxville instead.

Shanelle Ortiz needs re training on the steps of customer service and professionalism
1. my interaction at self check out a couple days ago the kiosk glitched out and i called to her to see if she could try to help her response to me i quote “ i’m on break” i get it your not obligated to answer any customer questions if you are clocked out but the same way she called to a colleague to ask for a bag check to go eat her food she could have kindly signaled this customer needs help it take 5 seconds to show kindness and respect where’s the human decency . You have a lot of employees that come to clock in for a paycheck but lack customer service. I will not tolerate this attitude for this simple fact she said it with no hesitation meaning it’s not the first time with this behavior. after i said that’s your response to me your on break she replies” i’m tired” im hearing excuses and disciplinary action needs to be handle for this employee . I would love to have a great chat with the dl of this area thank you.

Absolutely disgraceful customer service. The lady in the Pharmacy is so incredibly rude and has no business being allowed to work with customers and medications. Whatever certifications or qualifications she has should be stripped from her. Unfortunately, I am only allowed to go as low as 1-Star on this review otherwise it would be 0-Stars! Disgraceful!

I would not recommend this location go to the one at 24 Grant St. Across the Broad Street bridge. This location the shelves are almost always empty and boxes on the floor. If you don’t watch your step you might trip there’s never anyone to help in the cashier. Maybe you find one and don’t bother asking for help at the self check out because the manager and the cashier are normally busy gossiping with each other And the pharmacy don’t even get me started. It’s a joke.

Please treat your employees humanely. To me, this is most important, not whether the store is clean or whether the staff greets me. They are amazing, despite the fact that they are so unhappy.

I moved to the area recently. This is my local CVS and I have used this pharmacy for over 2 years. The staff (both pharmacy and retail) are phenomenal. Today I was on the verge of panic when I saw my insurance was denying a critical medication that I only had one dose left of. I came over and asked for assistance. The pharmacy staff were quick to assist me. I was ready to pay out of pocket ($250) for a medication. They started brainstorming and actually found an error from the covering MD who sent in the script. They were able to correct it and get my medication billed to insurance. Mary Lou (if I spelled your name incorrectly I apologize) was pivotal in the support, I don’t know the names of the other staff but they all contributed. I have seen some other customers who become difficult (raising their voice or otherwise) and the staff are always able to handle the situation in a professional manner. I can’t thank this CVS team enough for their care whether it be with pharmaceuticals or any other product/service. For those navigating difficult (or even upsetting) insurance issues, you can trust this team to devote their time and energy to getting you the care you need. Highly recommend.

Pharmacy understaff. They make you wait up to hour for your prescriptions. They have a new guy who does not know what he is doing and makes the lines worst.
