This store has been renovated and I truly recommend it! I always find a deal on fashionable shoes and who doesn't LOVE that? I usually walk straight to the clearance rack and it never disappoints me! Whether I am shopping the clearance section or the regular priced, I ALWAYS get a stylish bargain! 🤩

had the worst experience at the Bronx Bay Plaza location of DSW store today March 1, 2025 since it was opened. I have lived in the area for 24 years, my wife and I went to buy suede/leather shoes care products between 10 and 11am. When standing at the register, we met a customer being attended to by a heavy set African American lady and another male associate at the time. we patiently waited and hoping that we would be called after the customer finished her transactions as any customer would expect.
After they finished with the customer they proceeded to have a conversation with each other without acknowledging our presence. We waited a while hoping that they will recognize our presence and when the conversation became longer we decided to draw there attention and immediately, the African American lady right away started yelling that we were rude to speak as she was training the male associate and my wife said that could be done when we were gone. And she continue to yield at us and work away into the back room of the store you can view your store camera and see the incident. Then we were about to make payment to the male associate, she came out and was still making comments to us and we had to respond to her as she was very rude at this time and went on to take our item and said the security should walk us out that she will not tolerate us talking to her and her associate thought we never said anything to her associate but to her because of her rudeness we had to respond to her. The security walked us out and we couldn’t make the payment even though the item has been ranged up. This experience is something my wife and I have never experienced in our lives and base on customer relationships and as a registered nurse myself, I know what it means to treat any customer with dignity. So, I will say this female associate behavior is not good for the image of DSW just our opinion.

I purchased three pairs of shoes on the DSW website. I received two pairs and then realized that the third pair was missing and never received. I contacted customer service chat online, was helped immediately, and received a refund. The other two pairs had to be returned to the store, and I made an in-store return, which was a very smooth process. They provided the refund immediately. I recommend DSW customer service for prompt assistance and support.

90 % of my shoe inventory are from there never a shortage of shoes , running shoes and sandals. A vast variety you really can’t beat. Highly recommend this store.

Terrible customer service. Basically no service. I went with two young children and needed help sizing them, nobody was offering to help me. I tried to measure them myself. I had trouble finding shoes in their size, and nobody offered to help me. I finally found an employee just standing there and asked for help, he just pointed me in the right area but didn’t answer my questions. Nobody helped me out shoes on the kids and make sure they fit. I finally got a pair of shoes and went to check out in the box had two different size shoes in it. The checkout lady told me to go back and hunt for the missing shoe again no help was offered to me. I couldn’t locate the shoe and had to start over again. People reprimanded me because my children were touching things and running around, but nobody offered to help. It was very stressful. I bought three pairs of shoes and found out that two didn’t fit and now I have to make returns. This could’ve been avoided if I had had more help with sizing, it’s hard to rely on children to tell you if the shoes fit or not. ( when my kid had on two different size shoes he didn’t tell me that one was too tight. This is why I needed help with someone knowledgeable in shoes and fitting.) one kids has orthotic inserts so sizing is tricky and I needed help. I will not go back. Spent an hour there only to be stressed out and now have to go back and return what I bought. I could have ordered shoes online but I went to a local store so that I would have help. Forget it, I will order the new pairs online.

First and foremost, allow me to assert that the customers frequenting this establishment exhibit a regrettable lack of civility and consideration! Upon each visit, I am disheartened to witness individuals casually discarding footwear onto the floor and exhibiting disrespect towards the diligent staff. There should be more consideration towards staff considering that most of the time they are short staffed. For a more pleasurable shopping experience free from the company of discourteous individuals, I would advise seeking an alternative location.
