Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The people that work there could careless about their job or your concerns. Including the managers.

Ordered a new refrigerator. Fine. Asked that the door hinges be placed on the left side rather than the right. Fine. Guess what? They came on the wrong side. Called the customer service number. The guy says "You're right. We'll have someone come over and change it for you. Was scheduled for 4/19 between 12 and 4. Fine. Was able to track their progress as they completed other jobs. I was the last one of 7. Fine. Tracked as the number went down. Just near 4pm I checked again. CANCELLED! What? No courtesy phone call? Nothing! Called customer service. Was put on hold twice. Finally was told that a supervisor would be calling withing 2 hours. Told the woman on the phone that I was setting my clock on my phone for two hours and that someone had better give me an explanation. My alarm goes off two hours later. No call. I call them. Get the run-around, was put on hold twice and then unceremoniously disconnected! Called back furious! Got another person who put me on hold only to come back and tell me that the service truck broke down and they rescheduled me for Saturday at some time of their choosing. I was livid. First, I asked, if I've been tracking their progress all day and it got down to one service before me, that means they did every person on their list but me! Second, don't you think that good customer service would be to schedule me FIRST the next day? Then to listen to their drivel while on hold saying the customer always comes first is total BS. Unless properly rectified to MY satisfaction, this is the last purchase of this magnitude I will every purchase from this company.

Until now, I've been an enthusiastic supporter of Home Depot in general. Compared to Lowes, the selection is more appropriate to pros like me, it takes returns quickly and easily, and has a large inventory. However, their ProPlus program has recently made a change that is akin to hiring a Lyft to take me across the street to Loews. Now, instead of having your purchases logged into your ProPlus awards account, you have to SCAN YOUR RECEIPT WITH YOUR CELL PHONE!Yeah, sure! I'm going to invite Home Depot into the private domain of my cell phone, full of client names, a live camera and microphone. And I'm going to save every receipt and remember to scan them in - when? On MY time? To participate in Home Depot's Customer Relations scam?Satisfying busy professionals is based on saving pros TIME & money. Home Depots ProsPlus does neither. Taxi!? Take me to Loews!

Always have an issue locating any employee to assist in finding a product. Store is dark and dirty. Not an enjoyable experience. Hawthorne location much brighter, cleaner and friendly employees that you can find. Done with this store.

this home depot is so bad it may haunt my dreams forever. it was like a scene from a zombie apocalypse. parking garage with tumbleweeds of trash rolling by. zombie employees who ignore you (if you can even find them). zombie customers who will run you over with their carts (or giant pickup trucks) without so much as a second glance. i kept expecting the walking dead cast to pop up. and like, fine, i'll brave the zombies if i can at least get what i need but... they didn't have it. no reason to ever come here. ever. (unless you're a zombie).

Just like any Home Depot around the country. Same service across everywhere...

The parking lot is a garbage dump! Be careful where you park - so much trash and debris everywhere. I can not u der stand why they don't have trash cans and employees with brooms out there. Ken Langone would be horrified.

They can’t answer a phone. Rang for a whole hour with no answer. Last time I was in they sold me items they didn’t even have. Go to Lowe’s across the street.

Don't put people on hold, then have it end in eternal ringing. Why do I have to wait until the next day to pickup a stocked item? Why is it that no one knows what they're doing? This store is horrific; beyond belief terrible - worst store to shop.

I went to pickup an online order that had five items in it. After only receiving three of them, I insisted that all five should have been available for pickup as it stated in the email I had received. But no, they told me that only three were coming up in the system even after showing them my email. I left and waited on hold for 15 minutes and after finally getting through to someone they told me that I had picked up all of my items! Unbelievable! They should at least deliver the other test of my order after I wasted a good 45 minutes at the store!

I have purchased tiles from this Home Depot and when I opened the box half of the tiles were broken. I have been trying to complete a small project with HD for weeks now and they are no help. Horrible customer service with a bad attitude.

Went to Home Depot on Sunday, 9/1/19, to find out the cost of carpeting in a new apartment. In order to find out the cost of the size and width of carpeting I need, I have to not only provide the information, I have to pay to pay over $38 to find out what it would cost me. If I agree on the cost, it's removed from the amount I would need to pay and if not, I lose the money. Sad part is a guy wanted to buy pieces of an opened box, and the home depot sales guy was saying home depot doesn't sell these boxes, they rather throw them away, and sale an opened box.

What is it with the lack of customer service at Home Depot's in the NYC area??? Asking for a key to be copied shouldn't cause an employee to act like I'm asking for a box on the top shelf. Corporate should be ashamed at how their employees behave in the Nyc area.

A few weeks ago as my wife and I were walking down one of many aisles a lady was with her non-service dog on a leash when the dog bit me in the leg. After scolding the customer for bringing the dog into the store I tried to get a manager immediately to no avail. I called Home Depot's main number and no one addressed what happened. Fortunately I did not have to go to the doctor or hospital. Others may not be so lucky if the store allows people to bring in their non-service dogs. I have nothing but disgust and contempt for such a store and their total lack of care.

This store is a complete mess. They didn't have anything I went in there for, and there is no obvious help around. The people you do find have no knowledge, and the checkout process takes forever and is a complete mess. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else. Pay more if you have to. It's worth it in the price of your sanity.
