Hyatt Place New York/Yonkers is a very nice hotel noted for its great location in the heart of the Cross County Shopping Center. The property is described as clean, well-maintained, modern, and spacious, with comfortable rooms and excellent amenities. Many guests highlight the extremely nice, friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff, contributing to a great atmosphere. The hotel offers a pet friendly environment, free parking, and a free breakfast bar with a variety of hot and cold selections. Its position provides great convenience, with plenty of dining, shopping, and things to do right outside the door, all within walking distance in a safe location with security.
However, experiences can vary. While most staff are praised, one interaction with a manager was reported as loud, unhelpful, and impolite. Furthermore, some guests find the breakfast lacking, citing no variation in the food, an unpleasant taste to items like the eggs and fruit, and occasionally late setup. Despite these points, many visitors would recommend the property and state they are coming back, citing an overall positive and convenient stay.
I have lost count of how many times I have stayed at this hotel. I just so appreciate the great service, the comfortable rooms, the way, free parking, and the terrific breakfast. Not surprisingly, I will be back!

I like this hotel but I dislike how they closed the pool and still wonder why they closed. But the hotel is good because we got to have a plaza we can go to when we want too
