The technician stabbed me with the needle and lifted the needle underneath my skin. I shouted, "You're hurting me! Please stop being so rough." He ignored me. Now I have shooting pain down my arms, and I'm black and blue.

First and last time here. I knew this had low ratings (for other reasons), but this was unfortunately my only option, on such short notice I needed labs done asap and well this was the only labcorp open close to me!
Convenient because they are open Saturdays 7am-11am. The office was empty, check in was quick and easy and I was called right in.
Now, there was only 1 person in the back to draw blood and he was clearly (from these photos) TERRIBLE at his job.
He used the wrong needle on my arm, & inserted it in a way that I have never had someone do before. The tiny red dot is where he inserted it (which isn’t my vein), and the bruised part is my actual vein, where he stuck the needle up until. It was painful, weird, wrong, he was throwing things as he used them (again, weird).
Overall horrible experience. As someone who has great veins, goes to the doctor often and NEVER bruises (surprisingly lol), this was terrible. My arm is in pain, and obviously bruised. Oh and this isnt even 24 hours later, I went there around 10:30am and by 7pm it looked like this!!
Even in an emergency, save yourself and don’t go here !

Waited over an hour to bloodwork. It is a tedious wait. They have one person working there. Just one person doing the front desk and being the doctor and nurse all at once.

My experience @ the Yonkers LabCorp was great. Easy checkin, little wait time for a walk-in appointment, blood work was quick and painless, and I was done within 40 min.

This place does not deserve not one star. I arrived to location at about 11:50. I sat there for over an our, the lead who ways working reports not getting fax or email that my provider sent 3 times and. When I asked tells me to call her supervisor Mary Hough but could not provide and working number or email address for her. She reports number is listed on door for office. When I exited, no such phone number was there. This is by far the worst experience ever. I left office at almost 1:30 with no bloodwork done and not even the manager for my doctor’s office was able to reach anyone at this location for assistance.

When I showed up to this location I was informed they did not perform the test I needed on this day even though I had an appointment scheduled for the specific test. Staff not helpful.

This is horrible, I had an appointment at 8 am that was scheduled for me by my school. I have a class at 9 am which is why I decided to come here at 7 am. I checked in and after waiting for 30 minutes they called my name and said yeah we don't do drug testing until 9 am You have to leave. First of all, why even give an appointment at 8 am if they don't do it until 9, and why tell me GO ON LEAVE, so rude and unprofessional.

There is only one person here who does all of the check in and all of the blood draws. Hire employees!!!

Long wait, not enough staff and my blood work was somehow lost. I arrived at 8 AM, and checked in at the kiosk, and sat waiting. After an hour other people started complaining about the wait, and finally one person went in and realized that there was only one person working, he was the Lab tech but was handling the check ins and couldn't also do the Lab work. A 2nd employee came in after 9 AM and started to bring people to the back but I ended up waiting over 90 minutes for a simple blood draw. The Lab tech was moving through patients quickly once people started going in but they shouldn't say they are open at 7 AM if there is nobody to draw blood because that tech is trying to do the admin work in the front. The other issue is that now, a week later, my blood work/lab results are missing, it's like someone threw the vial away as there are no results. But I did see the tech put stickers on the paperwork and the vials. So I don't know what happened. I checked with my Doctor and they didn't get them either.

I wish I had read the other reviews before. This was my worst experience in a lab ever. They simply don’t have staff and now I don’t even trust the results given how things are handled internally. Just go to Quest close by. Much better.

Let me start off by saying that my visit at the Yonkers office was the worst experience in my life. I had to wait 3 hours for an employee test done I arrived at 10:45 and was texted at 1120 to check in is what I expected since there were a lot of people ahead of me. I was not seen until 2:45. I was told when I asked about why other people were going in before me I was told they were getting blood work done. It should be noted that they were also walk in as I was. Why would you have a Kisok to check in if you’re not going to follow the progression order in which people came in? In addition there was only one Tec and person at the front who kept walking away to help the Tec. You should have more people working to push people in and out. I wasn’t the only one that was very frustrated. Honestly if i wasn’t told i had to use your facility i would never have gone there. The staff were trying their best but you can tell they were frustrated and upset and they give off a very negative impression.
After reading the reviews online it is spot on about what i experienced yesterday. I’m sure nothing is going to come of this but hopefully you can hire more staff to accommodate the business . Personally I would never recommend you company to anyone.I should also add the the sign posted with a supervisor email keep getting bounced back as a bad email.
Thank you

Hours for drug screening on the phone are wrong,it doesn’t start at 8am starts at 9am
Also the person at the front desk is not the most friendly and kind

What’s the point of making an appointment if we still have to wait over an hour and the walk ins get seen first?

This place is an absolute nightmare. Like other people who posted recently I had made a 12:30 pm appointment, which was confirmed by email and text, only to arrive and find out they’re closed from 12-1. Then when they finally opened, they couldn’t find the bloodwork orders my doctor sent so I immediately called my doctor and they faxed it over while I was on the call. But it then took them more than an hour after that to do my bloodwork
The guy who drew my blood smelled strongly of pot, so much so that you could smell it before he came into my “room”, then he proceeded to tie the tourniquet so tightly on my upper arm it left red marks, then he jammed the needle in my vein and when my arm inadvertently jumped because of the pain, he blamed me for it. I told him that wincing in pain is not a voluntary action and he said well it just means you got jabbed twice
When I got out to my car, I took off the long sleeve shirt I’d put back on after he drew my blood (because the office is freezing) and there was blood all down my arm, in the inside sleeve of my shirt, and I am NOT on blood thinners. I get my blood drawn multiple times a year because I have lupus and no other phlebotomist has ever caused this to happen to me
And of course Labcorp does not seem to have a customer support phone number to call and complain

Horrible. Online it says open 7am-2:30pm. I scheduled an appointment for 12:30pm. I get there at 12:20pm for my appointment there’s a sign at the door that says opened 10am-2pm and lunch break 12pm-1pm. The door was locked and around 12:40pm someone opens the door and I ask them if I can go in because I have an appointment and the person shut the door on my face and angrily said “1pm!!” He was extremely rude. There I am with a scheduled appointment at 38 weeks pregnant without the possibility to even go in and sit down on the waiting area. I’ve never had a worse experience. I left and got a text at 1:07pm that my name would be called shortly. So I was expected to stand up for 40 min because the staff couldn’t wait one extra hour for lunch time with the lab being opened for 4 hours a day when I have an appointment scheduled during that time. Listing an appointment time which the lab is closed for is one thing but being so extremely rude another. Absolutely disgusting behavior.
