I've been a customer at this pharmacy for eighteen years and had very good experiences in the past though management changed abruptly during covid. The new staff was nice but I would not call this a warm family environment. The staff keeps turning over and the store is understaffed since for one reson or another the employees do not remain very long thus there is a continuous disconnect with constantly new people to become accustomed to. The manager is nice in general but has not made sure of his employees behavior toward his customers and misinformation has once in awhile been given out ie:change of hours open on saturdays which should be shown on the door entrance like other businesses. The really sweet employees leave and someone very patronizing and "tough talking" used a nasty tone on me today. You never know what you're going to get. The back room misinformed me when I could pick up a med and I was treated like a drug addict. You can buy a can of beans but need to go elsewhere for dental floss? This is not a 'cumbala' moment. They can't keep good help for some internal reason. Sad

small pharmacy, family friendly, LGBTQIA friendly, with vast products.i come here for my prescriptions, my hair products, laundry products, and body care. the front staff (Yari and Jefferson) are very sweet and patient. they go above and beyond for their customers, honestly. Fari the pharmacist gets my medications quick and easy. It only took 1 hour after leaving the doctors for my prescriptions to be filled. i forgot an item in store and Yari held it down for over a week just to make sure they returned my item to me. if thats not great service and excellent care, i dont know what is.Lorenzo the manager seems to take great care of his staff and customers and i hope he continues to do so; a team like this is hard to come by.

Lake Avenue Pharmacy (Yonkers) is a neighborhood role model. The LAP Team --- Fari, Jefferson, Lorenzo, Paul, Steve & Yari fill prescriptions promptly & graciously. They also sell non-prescription healthcare supplies. Their newly renovated store reflects a welcome spirit! They give blue performance for community outreach.Arlene Seguine 9/11/22

A really nice and family friendly pharmacy. The pharmacy manager was very attentive and patient. Better than all the other big chain pharmacies. Will definitely be coming back.
