I took my dog for grooming twice and both times they knocked him. Unacceptable. I will not be going there again!

Pet diagnosed with liver cancer 1 year ago. At that we were told to stop vaccines because her life expectancy was 3-6 months. 1 year later she is still thriving...thankfully. Made an appointment to speak with vet about resuming vaccines. Pablo (clerk) refused to allow me to speak with vet prior to vaccine administration. Once I explained the situation he then went to speak to the vet who refused to come speak to me. I asked for a managers contact info and was told to call customer service. Competent vet care has become increasingly difficult in this city as it's seen as big business instead of healthcare. It's truly disheartening.

They were pretty good until a couple of months ago. I had a horrible experience with the employees. They were all arguing and using vulgar languages. It was so unprofessional. I couldn't believe it. They did a good job with clipping my dogs nails so I went back. This time they must have fired everyone. There was only two groomers and I was told that they don't know when they could clip their nails again and walked away. They didn't allow me to make an appointment neither. One new guy tried to help and said he'd call me when he is available. Never called.

The people are very nice but the selection is not the best and the prices are about $2-3 higher than at another big box pet store up the street

The guy who took care of me could care less. I asked him a question and he ignored me. Very rude. He seemed like he was to relaxed/just did pot. The line was extremely long and was purposely going slow. I would rethink your hiring process. Don't come into work if you can be pleasant

The Petco located in the Central Park Avenue, Yonkers is the most unprofessional pet shop I’ve been to. The manager Quando was disrespectful and rude as he refused to allow us to buy fish. My plan was to buy a variety of Betta fish to crate my own at home fish display. He approached me in an unprofessional manner and indicated that female and male fish are not allowed to be put together. As I asked why for further clarification he refused to answer and shrugged it off. I grabbed two fish tanks to separate them for that purpose. He approached me again in an aggressive manner and said “you are not walking out of here with those fish. I disregarded him and he continued to say “you need the tank set up first, you are not walking out of here with the fishes” with a frustrated facial expression while pointing at the floor. Not mention he was following me around the store and watching me as he made me feel very uncomfortable.As I approach the counter, Quando was sitting in the front. As the lady was nearly done scanning he said “I can’t let you walk out of here with those fish” I explained that buying fishes are not unlawful and he continued to say “the safety of my animals are my responsibility” I reassured him that we were not going to harm the fish. I was going to separate them which is why I bought two tanks. He was implying he was the manager when he has every right not to sell me the fishes.In this store, the staff members had no name tags or uniform to distinguish if they worked there or not. Or the role they played within the company. There were other customers asking me who works here or if I work there. There were hardly any animals or reptiles. The cages were empty.This overall situation was absurd and unnecessary as he was not only showcasing unprofessionalism by refusing to approach his customers in a friendly and respectful manner. He also did not further clarify his assumptions and claims. This could have all been communicated in a professional and effective manner but he refused to understand me as I repeatedly explained I wanted to create my own at home fish display.

This store sold me fresh pet food that expired December 2 and I purchased it December 15. When I called the manager hung up on my face. When I went in to get my money back the manager she was laughing and waving goodbye to me at the store. Do better.

Petco in Yonkers is the worst for grooming they called me saying my dog was “aggressive” and couldn’t continue with her haircut they way they gave it back to me was just 10x worst then when I took my dog there. Absolutely unacceptable! Took her to another grooming place and they did a great job and no complaints just really professional. Never taking her back to this place. I posted pictures of Petco work and how they leftMy poor dog and the after on my local place!

they r always helpful when needed. i brought my Woof to the groomer she was fab and Woofie never fussed he loved Meghan. too bad she isn't there any longer as well Woofie passed away in my arms recently at 18yo

The checkout staffer was not helpful, on purpose. Said he was taking his time during checkout. I asked about a discount offer that was displayed and he said he didn’t know about it - has been upfront all day. No offer to check just an impasse. You want it or not he said. Also refused to help a coworker. And was all around rude. I will not be returning to this store.

On 11/12: The bald guy that works in the fish department is rude and lazy. Me spouse and I walked into the store tonight at 6:50 in hopes to buy a snail. He said "Are you aware the store is closed?". I asked him "Then why did the associates let us in the store without saying anything?" He said "Because they're dumb a$$ idiots". My spouse asked the guy nicely if he could allow use to get a snail but he said no. 2nd time we've gone to this store and have had a negative experience with him. The first time was way before closing hours and wouldn't help at first and "I'm on break".
