Rented a storage today, Nick D was beyond helpful and knowledgeable about the facility ! He showed me around, gave me great tips and let me know all the benefits of renting with Public Storage ! Great customer service !

Re: 137 Sawmill River Rd, Yonkers, NYThe 2 gentlemen on duty yesterday Sunday were helpful in trying to resolve the problem of the access code not working. Unfortunately the code is still not working today Monday. Apparently a software issue. Hopefully one day this week.

I would suggest to anyone, do yourself a favor and AVOID this place - 400 Nepperhan Ave, Yonkers, NY 10701. Do business anywhere else but here - as I will soon be doing. The manager, Nay, is obnoxious, demeaning and lacks candor. I’ve been a customer for many years at multiple locations in multiple States, and I have never met anyone with such bad manners. At first we thought she was having a bad day, but every time we visit the office she has been a challenge to deal with. I can summarize every interaction we’ve had with her with one word - DISRESPECTFUL. Public Storage should heed to my experiences and pay more attention to this staff member…

After keeping things here successfully for years, I've unfortunately had a VERY bad (and VERY costly) customer experience. Here is the story:My Mother had a unit here for over five years. She paid for it in full on December 1st, the day it renews. On December 2nd, we asked the Public Storage employee "Marck" if we could change the lease it to my name instead of my Mother's. Marck said no, but we could vacate the unit and then it could be opened in my name... he began the process, and I was concerned because though I had my own second unit (Unit #2) there at the time, I didn't want my Mother's unit to be charged for nearly a full month twice (once for my Mother on December 1st, and then again by me on December 2nd). Marck said not to worry, as my second month would be free, which would even things out - that was fine with me.A few days later, I stopped by again (to vacate my other unit) and asked Marck to please confirm that the unit would be free for the second month -- and he did.Well, you can imagine my dismay this week when I received an email from Public Storage, detailing my bill for the next month at full cost. I went to the facility, and while Marck was not there I spoke to "Nay" (the manager -- she has a beautiful smile) who explained that Marck was new and had been wrong in what he told me.This is despicable. Marck's mistake cost me hundreds of dollars. Marck is a very nice person, but he really steered me wrong. Nay explained that there is nothing that can be done, and reiterated that Marck was "new" and that he simply didn't know..... but I'm still out the money. I've been "new" at plenty of jobs in my life, and I know that there is a learning curve, but Marck gave me, a paying customer, some very wrong and very inaccurate information that cost me hundreds of dollars.Beyond just being extremely unprofessional in customer service, my experience speaks very poorly of the training of new employees at Public Storage. Marck should not working alone there when he was so new and should have been more informed before giving me information that turned out to be so inaccurate and so incorrect.This Public Storage facility needs to train their new employees better, and take ownership of the incorrect information disseminated by their employees. Marck told me wrong, and I'm stuck paying the price. Shameful.

The best experience/help I’ve ever had being here for 7 years. I wanted to transfer units to get more space and the employee named Malone helped me with all the information I needed. He was very nice and super helpful, showed me different sizes of units, explained the price difference and insurance, as well told me about the public storage app and being able to open doors through the app which I never knew about being here for 7 years!! Thank you Malone!
