“I drove from nyc to this store because my friends raved about the treasures here and I ended up leaving with 18 items. The prices I got for brands like Alexander wang, Miu Miu, Alice & Olivia, Ferragamo, and there’s so much Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Prada, truly insane!!!! I compared what I purchased to eBay and some items were 80% less (not exaggerating) than online secondhand stores. I almost don’t want to write this review because it’s my secret weapon store now. I will be going every month or two and I don’t even think I need to shop anywhere else as they have literally everything to make an anmazing outfit. I think the absolute best part is that the girls working the store turn into personal stylists who will help you assemble the perfect outfit for any occasion. I don’t know, I’m just truly blown away!!!! The only reason I’m writing this review is because they are so kind and they deserve the credit but dang, what a hidden treasure!!! I’ll write a second review with photos of everything I got.”

The process of getting help was easy and professional. I visited the shop and was completely impressed. There is a dazzling range of quality items and great pricing. “Hollywood Heros has two things going for it. 1) An amazing, incredible selection of toys, new and vintage. 2) The nicest owners possible. My 12 y.o. son is a huge Star Wars collector, and he discovered HH on Yelp about. year ago. We've gone maybe a dozen times now even though it's an hour round trip. We often find rare and impossible to get items here and if it's not on the shelves, it's probably in their basement, so just ask. We became friendly with Jordan and Val on our trips there, and Jordan has been especially gracious. He always has time to talk, answer questions, and be friendly. Even when we come to just window shop, we still have great talks. Recently my son was looking for an ARC-170 gunship, and Jordan and Val had just gotten one in that had missing parts, and they gave it to my son as a thank you for being a loyal customer. It made my son's month. The store is a block from the central shopping district, so when we go we get bagels or Korean chicken and make a day out of it, or go the few blocks to Trader Joes. I know a Trader Joes isn't a selling point for a store specifically, but as a parent of someone who loves shopping here it's nice to have a cute town that can be part of the experience.”
“This is an excellent store with a wide variety of items at good prices, featuring departments for the whole family. They also offer shoes that are both stylish and affordable. If you visit, be prepared to look for street parking, which requires payment in coins.”
“Having recently moved into the neighborhood, I stopped by to donate a batch of toys. The location was very easy to navigate to using Google Maps. The parking lot was packed when I arrived, so it took a short wait for a car to pull out before finding a space.
Once inside, however, the experience was great—zero wait time, fast processing, and very helpful staff. It's a wonderful place to give unneeded goods a second life, reduce landfill waste, and add a few positive Karma points along the way. Highly recommended!”

“I really love this store I been going every couple of weeks and everytime I go i grab a good find ?. The only thing I wish is that they had a few days exchange policy, I went yesterday and found some camera film i instantly grabbed it since my camera is old and film is hard to find and it was for the same brand as mine, looked like the same exact catridge when I checked it, it was for my camera technically but was for a newer version than the one I have ? so now i have 0 use for it. I would love to at least be able to exchange as it was $10. I totally understand no refunds policy But I guess you win some you loose some. Definitely still gonna go back.”

Stopped in to check out the store and had an item I was interested in selling/consigning which they were very helpful with. It’s sad to see the negative comments as if they are the Salvation Army, it’s a designer boutique in Hartsdale which I assume the rent isn’t cheap. Will return very soon to do future business.”

Beyond all the hidden treasures located between the aisles, the entire staff at the Riverdale location truly go above and beyond for anyone who is fortunate enough to walk through the front doors. Each individual goes above the call of duty to ensure all clients are treated like family members rather than clients. They truly have a vast selection of new items every day from electronics, jewelry, books, music and everything in between. “i came here a few days ago with my best friend , first impression, it’s pretty big and they have basically everything from clothes to even under garments , etc. The staff were decent but they lowkey kept eyeing us weirdly. They have a lot of good brands and the pricing is soooo perfect!!!!! The fitting room was closed but everything fit perfectly and was in great condition so i definitely recommend.”

You can even find old public material of New York. I will definitely come back with more time to have a look at everything.”
“Although I have emphathy for the inconvenience & frustration for lack of consistency w/store hours...the owner has been sick, in the hospital & recouping from a broken foot! Also, the loss of her sweetmother (reg customers know who I'm speaking of), & another very unexpected death in the family, all in the past year +/- have been hard for her. Dare I suggest you call 1st, just to verify her open hours. Just a thought. I'm just saying...?”
