UPDATE:
My first visit was great (see below). However, when I went to pick up my finished glasses I had a much less enjoyable experience. I remember when I was looking at frames the optometrist Babs asked me what they'd be for. She wasn't the one who examined me. So I told her: reading (as in, not distance). I said I need them mostly for my work in front of the computer so they need to look professional, and for reading. I repeatedly said I'd be sitting in front of my computer. She filled out my paperwork and when I went to pick up my glasses yesterday they were for reading.. ONLY. 18" in front of my face (computer distance) was blurry. My mistake probably, as I took "reading" to mean everything up close, driving and distance is fine. Babs immediately got defensive and reminded me she wasn't a kid and she'd been doing this a long time and I said reading so the lenses were only for reading, not computer distance. I'm not the educated one about what "reading" means exactly so the error is obviously mine. And I wasn't unpleasant, just confused. And while I was overcoming the sticker shock at what the new price would be, Babs continued to be super defensive and remind me this was my fault.
So buyer beware: make sure the person who is ordering your glasses has actually looked at your prescription and asked you specifically how you intend to use your glasses.
First visit:
Zach was amazingly helpful. The whole process of the eye exam was smooth, efficient, and comfortable even though two of the professionals joined via telehealth. I would recommend them! Also, there was a sale on frames so I got two :)

The telemedicine aspect was a bit of a surprise for me and I was not aware that exams were done that way. I think it takes some getting used to. Their frame choices are limited. It took me two weeks to get my glasses and then they had to be redone for various reasons. Their prices, to me, were still expensive.
