I witnessed some kids doing nothing and they get yelled at for no reason they was just looking around and they said to leave if they aren’t going to buy anything this employee chased them around to see them pick up a ball and kick them out

I'm not sure, but it looked like this particular location was either downsizing or maybe looking to permanently close.Certain department areas of the store were sparsely stocked with merchandise. Some shells and sections were totally empty. Wasn't sure what was going on. Didn't bother to ask either.

Terrible customer service. Super lazy employees who won't go out of their way to help you. All young kids who are there for a paycheck. I asked if there was someone around to purchase ammunition. The kid walks away, comes back and says someone is coming. So I poke around for 15 minutes or so, still nobody. So I go to the checkout counter and ask what the deal is. "Oh there's no ammunition sales because the NYS background check system is down". Nobody cared to find out when or if it will be back online or ask a manager. Oh wonderful, so who did that kid go get that left me standing there? Probably an incompetent manager who just figured I'd go away if they left me there long enough. Not to mention I leave there and sit in my truck and try tirelessly to get management on the phone, and they don't even pickup the store phones. I called for 30 minutes. So I went to Walmart to purchase my ammunition. What a wonderful and pleasant experience that was after leaving DICKS . At least three different employees all went out of their way to find the guy from the ammunition counter and were all super nice about it. THATS CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! Those are employees who care about their jobs and are doing what they are there to do and that's assisting the customer always, because with no customers and bad reviews you have no business. DSG JVM is a free for all and a joke.

I just walked into the store looking for a pair of Nike sneakers that I had a really hard time finding and Nick was kind enough to help me get the sneakers online and work me through the whole process. Even more who know exactly what I was talking about. I've been to 4 different stores before this. I gotta say, Nick deserves some recognition. Thank you, Nick.

Recently I purchased a safe when I got home after unboxing 1/2 of the item I realized it was wrong I checked my receipt and was charged for the right item I was looking for but was brought out the wrong safe. I folded the box back around the item and taped it back up. Being it is a safe, it never really left the box. I put the safe back in the truck and brought it back. I go inside to get the right item and almost immediately was told it could not be returned... I looked at them like they were crazy you give me the wrong item, and there is nothing you can do? I opened the box and did nothing else but box it back up and bring it back. It should have been let's check the receipt and what you have and make it right one way or another. I shop here a lot for fishing and hunting stuff pretty often, so it was kind of surprising to get that reaction out of these people. Really I'm disappointed that they did this to me. In the end after multiple times going back and forth with management and associates, I got the safe that I wanted/needed.

Greatly appreciated all of the help we received from Greg. He explained everything very well and made no room for questions about any purchases. We left gaining more knowledge of fishing and hunting. Workers like Greg that keep customers first is hard to find. So thankful and would definitely go back.

I purchased my daughter's bike at the Jefferson Valley Mall location along with the 3 year tune-up plan. They failed to mention that the JV Mall location is not an authorized service center under the plan.To have the tune-up performed on the bike, I need to drive either to West Nyack, White Plains or Yonkers. After the time driving back and forward, cost of fuel..................this plan was not worth the cost.

Everything is to expensive. Then they wonder why brick and mortar is losing to the internet. Two starts for the staff who are super helpful in a losing game. It’s not their fault the corporations are greedy.
