Bought a thermostat that didn't work and tried to return it the next day. The serial number on the thermostat doesn't match the box (might be why it didn't work). They will not let me return it. I "could have taken it home and switched it". For another brand new unit that is the same as the one on the box cover? Is this a thing? I'm trying to figure out where the profit would come for me to do that. At any rate, because they will not take back a $32 dollar unit, and there is a Home Depot down the road, they have now lost thousands of future dollars from a former patron. I'm sure they deal with illegitimate returns all the time, but check my account history, and realize the right move here.

Approached the customer service desk with a broken old Craftsman tool that my father bought at Sears. When I inquired about exchanging it, I was told that they would not be assisting me that day under any circumstances. The CSR admitted to not knowing the Craftsman Lifetime Guarantee exchange policy (which she said changed frequently anyway) and that no one else at the store would know it either. There is no customer service help, just quick and abrupt refusal to assist.

I purchased a microwave drawer oven from Lowes and had them install it 1.5 months ago. Yesterday while cooking potatoes it started to shoot steam out covering the wood below and on the sides. I immediately called the store and they connected me with SHARP the manufacturer. That was the amount of service they provided.As it turned out SHARP customer service is incompetent. My one hour phone call with the rep was a disaster. He would ask a question put me on hold for 5 to 10 minutes return and do the same thing over and over and over. I finally just hung up and called the store manager today who said that was their process. So beware you get no support from LOWES and as for SHARP they are much worse.

Terrible customer service. Associates standing around and seemed bothered when asking for help. I used to love Lowes but I'm done. there is more to my issues with them but I don't want to get aggravated again. waiting for a response from Lowe's Corporate.

This store is beautiful but offers no help - what a shame. You’d better know exactly what you’re looking for when you enter this store because you are most certainly on your own. I have been in this store only four times due to the lack of service. The flooring section is especially terrible - the first time the individual working kept taking phone calls and walking away from us as we were asking questions. Second time there the individual we asked for help walked away from us and never returned. Third time was the only time we received help as we only needed to know where a certain product was located in the store. Our fourth time here recently we were in the flooring section again and the individual working in this section couldn’t be bothered to help answer our questions. We waited patiently as he was helping another couple and when it was our turn he pointed us to an aisle and then went to help another employee. I would rather travel further to Home Depot to receive help and answers to my questions when I go into the store. Needless to say we will be doing our home flooring project with Home Depot instead, due to lack of service received from Lowe’s.

Bought a dishwasher from this location, first one had a problem with the door, it was replaced (I chose a different dishwasher) and the Lowes installer cosmetically damaged it. I have been told at least four times that i would be getting a replacement and given a date by the installer. No one has either shown up or called to let me know they weren’t coming. I have waited 3 hours, four times and nothing. This has been the worst run around i have ever experienced buying a big ticket item. Still waiting to hear from Lowes about the next date. This would be the fifth time. Either Lowes installation is not coordinating with the store and the actual installer or they just don’t care. Unbelievable.

Usually our favorite place to go, but not a fan of the Spanish lady screaming at children not to touch the Halloween stuff telling them that’s why it’s all broken because of them. Parents buy these things to see their children happy, of course they are going to want to touch it. If you didn’t want them to I suggest putting it up or gating it off. Further, don’t scream at other peoples kids. Rude and unwelcoming. I’ll just go to Home Depot or somewhere else.

Went to get propane tank refill/ exchange along with water bottle exchange. I was told by customer service I could not enter the store with empty tank, ok so I put the tank back in my car and returned to the store and attempted to purchase via customer service was told Togo to register to purchase. After returning outside to pick up a new tank. There was no place to park. There were vehicles parked throughout the front of the store. I waited outside in sweltering heat when passed by two employees who told me they couldn't help because "The manager had the key:. The wise ass at the register did not call for someone to come out and exchange the tank for me. My wife had to go back into the store and ask again for assistance. This was a Monday morning and the store was empty... now I know why....

Pushed back my delivery date with no notice except an automated email. I couldn’t make that date work. Had to cancel the item and will have to order from somewhere else. Disappointing because I waited a whole week and they moved my delivery date at the last minute, the day before it was scheduled.
