Violent and incompetent customers and abusive managers who micromanage their staff and argue with clientele and then don’t protect their staff from unruly guests. 0/5 StarsAlso, they charge $200+ for outdated tech that can be secured for $99 or under elsewhere. Praying this location shuts down soon.(I could better manage this place in my sleep.)Also, thanks to this location, I’m boycotting Staples for life and encouraging as many people I know to do so. Even if it takes with one other person, it will be worth it.)

Terrible customer service and misleading advertising. In the self-service copy area, big signs all over the machines with discounted pricing. Yet the discount does not apply. Ridiculous. And the staff was not friendly at all. The only reason they are still in business is that they take Amazon and UPS returns. Everyone needs CS training or the store should just close.

I went to this Staples to pick up a $200 gift card, and while there, I decided to buy a pair of reading glasses, for which the total came out to $227.08. There was a problem with the Staples gift cards; none of them would scan after trying multiple times. A manager, Krystal, said she would get me a $200.00 Master Card gift card, then proceeded to another register and redid the transaction. Meanwhile, the first transaction went through my bank, effectively charging me a total of $227.08 and $242.70 for the second transaction, totaling $469.78 for both transactions. I asked for a receipt or proof of transaction for the first charge that was now pending on my bank card. Krystal did not know how to handle this, so she had to call the store manager. Before she called, she was extremely nervous, stating, "Oh man, I don't want to call him." Meanwhile, I'm standing there patiently. When she did reach the manager, he could not care less. Krystal allowed me to take a screenshot of her computer. I told her charging my card twice was unacceptable, especially since it was Christmas time, but it all fell on deaf ears. I then called Staples customer service, which was worse than dealing with the store. I asked the representative several times not to put me back on the phone with the store, as there I could not get a resolution. The representative connected me back to Krystal, who took my number and said she would call me back, which after four hours she did not. So I called again and waited over 10 minutes to speak to Krystal again. I asked for a manager, which she said she was. I told her how unacceptable this was and needed a resolution, to which she said I needed to call my bank and also replied that if you come in to the store, I'll give you a discount on your next purchase. Which is never going to happen again, why would I patronize an establishment that does not care anything whatsoever about customer service and is run incompetently? Also, the employees were talking about another employee who failed to show up for her first day of work in front of customers and laughing about it. Beware if you use a credit card here. Because if there is a problem, you're out of luck!!

Never had an issue. Always return my Amazon packages here with ease.Recently purchased school supplies and things were easy to find with a good variety of selection.

Horrible Customer Service! Went to staples with my wife at 8:30pm. Employee stated there are closing to make our way to the register at 8:50pm. Employee then stated we are shopping for school supplies too late and stated he is quitting and only there because of Covid. Employee was very disrespectful and unprofessional and I don’t think me or my wife will continue to go to this location!

I needed help with a return I had to send with ups and the associate helped me with printing the label and packaging the item. He was very friendly and helpful so glad they have worker like him in the UPS section. I wad in and out quickly as well so thank you again.

Ms. Saquiah makes all the difference!I have lived in Yorktown Heights for 25+ yrs and have been to this particular store many times for children's school supplies and projects. I have always found the store neat & clean and the staff willing to be helpful (most of the times). After all, is not this what one expects, why bother writing a five star review?It is for Ms. Saquiah. If you happen to be dropping off a UPS package or need help with print services, you can't help but run into Ms. Saquiah. What an amazing person! Always smiling and always helpful with a super positive attitude focused on efficiency.Most recently, I visited the store to get my son's tri-fold presentation printed. I gave wrong print dimensions which was not noticed until the day before his presentation. Thinking that the print dept. made an error, I called the store and happened to talk with Ms. Saquiah. She was super busy and told me she will call back in an hour which she did. It turns out the mistake was min and not the store's, however, she told me not to worry and drop by to re-print the presentation using correct dimensions. When I visited the store, she was busier than God, however, she welcomed me with a great smile. While working with another customer, she started my print job and had it ready in no time. It is extremely rare to come across individuals like her. I feel that her leadership has transformed the whole local Staples team.I wish to congratulate the store owner and the management team for finding and hiring such a great asset. I hope she stays with the store forever.

I stopped into the Yorktown store today to try out a couple of office chairs and found one I liked. The associate at the front register, Susan, helped me purchase the chair (a heavily discounted floor model) and then helped me wrangle the fully assembled chair into my car. This was the best experience I’ve ever had at Staples, and I left with a beautiful, super comfy chair for extra long work days. Thank you, Susan!

They seemed to not be willing to offer service after I printed things out on my own. There was also attitude for the print and copy employees because they had things to do. Not happy

Excellent customer service in this Staples. I had a bad experience at another location and walking into this location was refreshing! Everyone I encountered, was willing to help and solve my problems.

I had a horrible experience at this Staples. I went to pick up a photo montage for the wake for my grandfather and was helped by a young cashier. He repeatedly told me that my order did not exist despite me showing him the confirmation email from the store that the order was ready for pickup. When I asked to speak with the manager I was told that the manager wouldn’t be able to do anything about my order that “didn’t exist”. When the manager did show up it came out that the employee was looking in the wrong computer system, and my order in fact DID exist and was ready for pickup. Much un-needed stress on the day of my grandpa’s wake. I will not be coming back to this Staples.
