My husband & I went to test drive some vehicles just wanted to trade in our vehicle. When the guy who we talked to about purchasing a vehicle they kept trying to keep us there telling us a few more minutes etc. We had to get home to our son then when the dealership went to test drive our car they never told us where they parked it and my husband found our vehicle all the way in the back of the dealership. They forgot about giving us back our car key at first like trying to keep us hostage there or something but we have two car keys not just one lol. It was just overall a terrible experience then calls me the next day to ask about putting an offer into the bank so they can make a deal? We never even asked for that and told them never mind if my experience was better I would have thought to come back but trying to keep us hostage there to buy a vehicle is a little strange. Then telling us we don’t want an older vehicle. The kid must of been in his early 20’s umm i am the one purchasing the vehicle not you & making the payments lol. You can say you didn’t try to keep us there all you want but it’s a little strange when we said we had to go you all wanted to keep saying a few more minutes just a few more minutes. We will be going someplace else to purchase a vehicle. Thanks for the nightmare!

Have been coming here for service on my work van that was given to me through work at 230k+ miles. Have had 2 separate issues on my van and come here for service.Mike and his team are outstanding and provide exceptional customer service. From the communication every step of the way, to just the overall friendliness and understanding that I have to go through my channels to get an answer on repair approvals, they wait for me without any frustrations whatsoever and make my visits here beyond amazing!I have never been treated with such high quality service at a dealership for my work vehicles.10/10 service and highly recommended!!If you buy a vehicle here, I can’t imagine how much better they’ll service you.. because it doesn’t get much better than this.

Got tires done about a month and a half ago, car pulls to the left ever since…. Bring it back to service and they tell me they never did an alignment when putting on 4 new tires because I never asked for it to be done?!?! Aren’t you supposed to suggest that as a service advisor Justin? Why are you letting people ruin their tires and then when they mention it, you make it seem like it’s their fault? Terrible service manager practices, could have been handled differently. What reputable shop puts tires on and doesn’t do an alignment or even suggest it??? It was even on the quote you gave me and you still didn’t do it.If you’re looking at bringing your vehicle here for tires, please RECONSIDER and give your money to a local business instead, who will take the time to go above and beyond. They don’t care here. Don’t play with people’s investments.Update: Car still drives to the left even after paying for the alignment that was never done, so what did I actually pay for??? NEVER BRING YOUR CAR HERE FOR TIRES OR ALIGNMENTS, use Tallman’s Tire. Never again.

I have had a wonderful experience dealing with Chris Gardner & Rob Andrejov. Chris went way above & beyond all my expectations. He was so kind & very professional. And Steve Ponte has always & continued to be so helpful & made sure I was happy with everything. They all made me feel like family and I will go back every time. I was recommended to go to Steet Ponte by many coworkers at the casino. Ryan Kepner was a great salesmen. He saw how overwhelming it was for me purchasing my first car and he took the time to explain everything possible to me and made sure I was on page with everything!! Made purchasing a car with Steet Ponte so easy!!

Dealt with both Nissan and Toyota. Looked at a vehicle around 30k, at Toyota, salesperson said you Don't want that one and kept showing us one's around 41k. Then looked up our trade on KBB and said give you around 7k when it was listed between 11,200 and 12,800! Car was resale valued at 17k to 19,500 because we researched that also right there. So low balled us on a trade. Then at Nissan we were going away the weekend and wanted to think on it, they said give us a hold check, we won't cash it! We'll it was deposited on Saturday and cashed Monday. Wife went shopping and card was declined because they cashed her check. Now they are saying 3 days to write her another check! A very wealthy car dealership can't write a 500 check back to a customer that day. Sad because my daughter had been wanting a new car, so that's 2 sales lost. What happened to being honest to the customer. We are now dealing with a syracuse dealer for 2 vehicles.

I came in with a broken retractor on my seatbelt a assuming I would have to bare the cost but to my surprise it was covered which would of been an expensive repair. Howard even made me aware of a recall on my car that I was unaware of. Even though I had a bit of a wait (no problem at all) they kept me well informed what was going on and how much longer it would be. One of the best experiences I have had at a dealership.

I went to this dealership looking to buy a brand new Nissan Sentra. Upon arrival, the sales consultant Nyah Thompson waved me over from the parking lot as soon as I stepped foot out of my vehicle. She asked what I'm looking for and took me directly inside to her desk to start talking numbers without me getting a chance to even look at the car first. Despite a good credit score, Nyah and a manager Joe Curri were not willing to work with me at all on pricing or payment plans. Instead of asking the customer something like "where are you looking to be at for a monthly payment" as most other car salesmen start off the financial conversation with, Nyah and Joe went straight into this is how much you are going to be paying each month and if you don't like it, come up with a bigger down payment. They also significantly low balled my trade in (offering me only $300 for it when another dealership gave me $1,000 for it) and neither of them took the time to get to know me as there could've been company discounts they could've offered me as I am a first responder, an online college student, etc but they did not bother to put in the effort that other dealerships do. My dad was with me and when they went into another room, my dad told me "this isn't right" and "they're jerking you around. Let's get out of here and check out other places." When they came back out with literally no change at all in numbers yet still pressuring me to sign, my dad chimed in and stated "you are asking her to come up with $5,000+ down payment and sign a 6 year financial commitment without her even getting to test drive the car." Joe shrugged and walked away not to be seen again and Nyah took me out to see a two year older model Sentra (not even the one I would've been purchasing) and let me sit in it for a couple minutes just showing me the interior but still did not offer to go get the keys for a test drive or explain any of it's driving features and then she rushed us out saying she needed to have her lunch before an upcoming meeting but to "come back" another time if I decide to buy the car. Obviously I never went back and ended up going with another dealership that treated me like a valued customer and I had a much better experience purchasing my brand new vehicle through Don's Ford in Utica.

We had Ryan Kepler as a sales rep at the store and he was absolutely one of the best car sales reps that I have dealt with. Never pushed anything, listened to everything that we had to say and made the deal happen to our liking. I will definitely visit Steet Ponte Nissan for future car needs.
