Authentic Newfoundland fish market. Get your vegetables for your Jiggs Dinner as well. They also have some beautiful souvenirs and unique Newfoundlnd memorabilia. The staff is wonderful, friendly and true Newfoundland hospitality. Definitely check out Taylor's.

Good selection for being out of season in mid-October. Though I was confused at their stock of PEI mussels and not NL mussels (most likely due to being end of season). The scallops we got were very buttery and delicious. Some of the best snow crab I've ever tasted came from Taylor's as well!

This place pre/Covid was excellent. We went on July 19th to stock up on fish etc. They are still in Covid mode. Barriers set up. You can’t look at fish. Almost everything was frozen. Staff is aloof. Didn’t really care whether we were there or not. Their Facebook page toots fresh fish daily. They only had scallops & halibut that day. Bought cod tongues that were so overpriced and frozen. Rubbery when cooked. Will never go back. Time to leave Covid in the rearview mirror GIRLS. No one wants to get product through a plexi glass. And maybe put a smile on ur face and be kinder to your customers. 2 stars for the overpriced scallops & halibut. Bought 4 frozen lobsters tails. Never put in bag. $40 we were charged . Left a comment of Facebook no reply. This is what happens when you are running a business like a cafeteria. Will never go back. So disappointed.Edit: response to owner. When I posted this is irrelevant. Our experience at the store was a dud. Felt rushed and dismissed. You didn’t even serve with a smile on your face. No greeting of hello or anything. Maybe engage the customer that comes in and tell them what you have. The store is scattered and so is the list of frozen fish. I don’t care if you have 15,000 or a million followers, still doesn’t change the experience. I’m entitled to say what happened to us. There is other ways to set it up so it’s more inviting.Edit #2. I’ve found that business and restaurants in NFLD have a hard time dealing with constructive criticism. I doubt any of these places would survive in a big city. Customer service has to stand out and so does quality of product. Thank your lucky stars it’s a small town you are serving.

Amazing customer service! We initially bought two live crabs close to their closing time, but one was found to be motionless after we inspected them at home. I messaged them after hours, and Kelly went above and beyond to make our east-coast seafood experience fulfilling. She invited us back to the shop and was extremely friendly and understanding in handling this situation. I can't stress enough how much I appreciated her effort in making sure I left her establishment satisfied. I would recommend Taylor's to anyone looking for fresh seafood, complimented with outstanding customer service!
