About Glovertown Museum
The Janes House Museum was developed with the theme of resettlement in mind, which is the story of people's movement from the Islands of Bonavista Bay to 'Growth Centers' such as Glovertown. Other themes at the Museum include boat building, the Spring log drive, and general Glovertown history and heritage.

Extraordinarily informative and interesting. We were able to connect with the resettlement of Glovertown to our own history from the Burin Peninsula. Knowledgable and kind staff assisted us, this museum is run on donations that are very clearly used to upkeep these beautiful artifacts.

I was really impressed by the level of care and quality of this free museum. Well worth the short detour from the main road.

I had a great time looking around the museum. My grandfather (Boyd Sweetapple) was born in that house.
