Northern Light Inn is a hotel located minutes from the ferry terminal. Reviews note the rooms are often spacious, clean, and adequate, with a separate sink area, though some are dated. The bathrooms are described as very small. A common complaint is that the walls are thin, making it hard to sleep with noise from other guests. The staff are consistently noted as friendly. The hotel is attached to restaurants like Jungle Jim's and a bar, but offers no breakfast service; Robin’s Donuts and a convenience store are across the street. While some find it expensive, it is considered a great base for exploring the area, especially convenient for ferry travel.
Stayed here as it would be a quick trip to the ferry. Room was adequate but the bathroom, although clean was very small. The toilet was difficult to use and no room to move. The bed was fine. During the night, we could hear people walking around.

Room was very expensive. However, it was the last room available after ferry cancelation. Bed spring was exposed a wee bit and was irritating. The restaurant food menu was OK. No breakfast service is available within the hotel, but Robins Donuts is close by and open early. Within 10 km of the ferry terminal

Had a great night here while on a tour. Our room was really clean and comfortable. I like having the sink separate from the toilet and shower so two people can get ready at once. Breakfast at Jungle Jim’s was amazing. Robin’s donuts is across the street.
