I've been getting gas at this topsail road location for 5+ years and today was my last. There's about a 20% chance that the pumps actually have receipt paper in them, I pay at the pump to save time but still almost always have to go inside to get my receipt. However, 3 times in the last month I've pulled up to get gas, went through the pay-at-the-pump process(which is painfully slow at irving), my credit card is approved but then I'm stuck with the "awaiting approval" message for about 2 minutes until it times out and cancels the entire thing. I assume that an employee at the counter has to approve each transaction since all 3 times that this happened, there were no employees at the front counter. Multiple people stood up waiting to get gas and can't pump any. All 3 times I left and went to North Atlantic just up Topsail Road, which has never given me any headaches, and that's who will be getting my business from now on. You would think that such a massive corporation could hire and pay enough employees to run the basic operations and restock some printer paper.

I have gone to this place many times over the years largely because of its location. It is ideally situated when I visit friends or I am taking a quick trip. The place is always clean, the pumps are always working, and they always have what I am looking for. They have even been open when most other places have been closed, making it extremely convenient during those times.

Good for gas. But location is in the horrible Topsail-left-turn-headache area and honestly I wouldn't bother to get gas unless I was almost empty or making a right turn to get out.
