Advertising antifreeze for $16.99 and then when I get to the counter it's double the price. I was told then if it's $16.99 for one not the boxes of 2. However the price was there intop.of all the unpacked boxes. They're answer "Well it's just not unpacked". I'm expected to unpack their merchandise. Very shady practice. Pics for proof but can't attach.

Had 4 new tires installed 2 weeks ago, tpms sensors didn’t work afterwards. Went back manager spent 20 mins but no luck. Manager said he would do some research and call me. Went back into the store yesterday and sat for 3.5 hrs while they checked it out. First told me the sensors were damaged when they installed the tires, then said they weren’t. Instead of installing new sensors while they had the tires apart they put them back together and gave the truck back to me. Told me they would discuss and call me today, 3 PM no call yet. A week later called the Manager was told he never heard anything about it. Started making up more stories until I told him I went to a real garage they changed the sensors and all worked great now. His exact words “I have nothing”.

A while ago, I was looking for a back pillow on special in the flyer. The lady was very helpful. She was a manager in another dept. I was amazed by her patience and dedication. After searching for a while, she found the one I wanted. The store was at Hebron Way in St John’s.. thank you

Decent products and sale prices, but the self-checkout lane is often closed.

I haven’t had many issues here before but the lineups and delays at the cash are getting foolish. Often the self checkout is closed or takes way too long to use because mosts items don’t register on the scale. Today I abandoned a 500$ purchases because there was only one cashier working and they were completely occupied and overwhelmed with a customer. I waited 15 minutes to try and pay for my items but in the end I discarded my cart and left.

I love rambling around Canadian Tire every so often. It's like therapy for a shed-head like me! Friendly and helpful staff is a great addition! Definitely worth a visit!

Let me get one thing straight. The amount of brain cells the cashier has is remarkably low. The level of cognitive thinking this guy has is shameful. Is it really that hard to put money in a box and take some coins out and give it to someone? Is it really? I could be half asleep and blind with 3 fingers and be able to do the things this guy “Andrew” can’t.
I walked in to buy an air freshener for my car because i like to keep it smelling fresh. I pick the first one i see off of the rack and go up to buy it. Not even sure he noticed i was at the register trying to buy something. I then had to get his attention so he could ring me up so i could be on my way. It takes a good 30 seconds for him to find the barcode on the item and scan it. He tells me the price and i hand him a bill a little bit over the amount of the item. He puts the bill in the register and then expects me to leave without my change. I have to remind him for my change before he gives it to me. He gives me my change and i walk out. I would rather drive the extra 5 miles than come to this establishment again. Please fire this idiot.

I came in a few days back , and everything was going good until i got to the register. There was this employee named “ Andrew “ not sure of his last name all i know is his name was Andrew . he seemed to be half awake and almost sleeping on the job. He has a hard time hearing what i was saying also. Not to mention the lack of effort in even giving me my money back, i had to remind him TWICE to give me my change. And the first time he got it wrong . Aside from that , Canadian Tire in NL is an Awesome store and i reccomend it!

very poor service. had a broken maximum breaker bar with lifetime warranty. bought it in for replacement only to get a bar 8 inches shorter and only half the value. been a mechanic all my life and always bought Mastercraft tools but now leaning to princess auto. no hassle replacement and warranty. very unsatisfied with canadian tire.
