Machines at self check out are buggy. Skip them and go to a line with people.
Staff at self check out where not helpful at all.
We bought tin foiled potato’s for the grill and when we unwrapped them they had mold.
There are no signs on the aisle so you can’t tell what is where.
Poor product management and poor staff management means a poorly run store.
Would not recommend this location at all.

Literally just spent 25 minutes at a self checkout machine(s). Two machines were broken, the one I used was “serviceable”. The cashiers couldn’t even get it to work properly. Line up was up the isles with only 1 cashier working the regular till. What a frustrating experience. We need cashiers back.

What is going on in this supermarket?
The produce section keeps shrinking and the quality is awful - inferior fruit, often visibly bruised or spoiled.
You cannot buy a potato! Either mini-spuds (expensive and limmited use), but you cannot buy regular potatoes that zren't in large quantities that require a car to transport.
Whole grain breads are also hard to access - brands that were always available have been dropped.
Pallets of ptocessed junk are slowly replacing healthy food.
Inferior to other stores throughout the city, by far.
Why is the Dominuon in this neighbourhood so run-doen, dirty, and poorly stocked?

This Dominion concerns me. Every time I buy something on sale, it is either moldy or past due date. The other day I walked in and the olive bar was completely uncovered. UNCOVERED. So you have people walking by, coughing, sneezing, kids running around bringing up dust from their shoes, people cutting boxes nearby, cat hair falling off sweaters, dust from workers or the floor and what not and yet y'all were concerned about covid spreading, and people still wear masks BUT a food bar is left uncovered for 8 HOURS OR MORE? the olives were drying out, artichokes looked gross. IT'S A FOOD BAR. COVER IT. COVER IT. I did file a complaint with Public Health because I am not eating people's hair in my olives, which I did find, among other things. KEEP IT COVERED! Then of course lets' talk prices. A grocery list that should have cost me about $80-$120 was $188 dollars. INSANITY.For me the best thing about this Dominion is their selection of meats, and the meat prices, along with the homemade NACHO chips. Then of course they are the only store that carries Lavazza coffee, in it's classic form. That's the only reason I go, becaus Broccoli is alway soft. Potatos always have sprouts on them, carrots are always mushed at the tips or ends, and then the olive bar which is left completely uncovered which has to be the most unsanitary thing EVER. I was so grossed out by the olive bar being so exposed and left there to literally look gross, that I couldn't even express how disgusted I was to staff. I just left. How that's not illegal and I"m sure it is in Canada as in bars we have to cover limes and lemons on the bar, so I'm pretty sure that olive bar needs to be COVERED!

Had the pleasure of meeting Alisha in the Bakery. She took time out of her busy schedule to help us out with some great tasting cream horns. She went above and beyond to make sure we had what we came for. Thanks for being so kind and helping us out.

It is a pity that the Joe Fresh clothing for men is so limited if nearly non-existent at this location. Blackmarsh Road branch has a wider selection

Today I had the very unfortunate experience of having to deal with “Charlene” at customer service. I have seen her there several times before & sullen is her usual mood it seems but today was the worst I’ve ever been treated. I approached the customer service desk to pick up one item, pre-purchased via Flashfood. It seems Charlene considers this an annoyance. She glared over at me & proceeded to deal with 2 older ladies, both returning items. I waited patiently, however as soon as she was done with them she glared at me & said curtly “you’re gonna have to wait-a WHILE-I have customers waiting on me! With that she stomped over to one of the cashes & proceeded to check in 5 customers, all of whom had carts of groceries! There was no smile, no apology, no glance over “I’ll be with you in a minute-NOTHING. She ignored me for 20 minutes while I stood there feeling angrier by the minute. I was standing in front of the customer service counter wicket ( I didn’t realize) when she finally stomped back & said “ can you MOVE?!” She glared at me continuously & then grouched”if Loblaws would just put more people on shift this wouldn’t happen!!”
I understand how frustrating understaffing must be, but there is NO an excuse for rudeness. I told her “it took you less that one minute to get me my order, which you could have done rather than making me stand here for 20 minutes after I’d already waited behind 2 people to begin with!” She glowered at me & snapped “have a nice day”, cutting me off. She is a nasty, unprofessional piece of work!!

Love the pc financial master card and all of the points I get. Dominion should provide base points though as I seem to only get significant amounts of points from SDM and ESSO. Give me more points I tell you, MORE!

This is a great shopping center. Over on the west coast we have Superstore, and both supermarkets are owned by Loblaws, so being here was like being right back at home. I expected this place to be slightly worse than Superstore, but it actually is better in many ways. It's a nicer and more spacious layout and has more options for many things. We came here at least every other day during our 2-week stay.
