Pet Zone has been my preferred spot for toys for a while, great selection, no no-brainer. Not too long ago they had some free cat food, I picked up a selection had my dude pick out his favorite flavour. Of course, when I went to go buy a bulk-sized bag of his favorite flavour, I picked up the wrong bag! My cat is super picky and he wouldn't touch this other flavour. This was 100% MY mistake. I called the shop to see if there was anything I could do and they took care of me! Just when I thought customer service was dead. 10/10 to "Lacy".

Only place in the city that carries picky kitty cat food (one of the best on the market) kind, knowledgable, always have a free sample promo on most purchases, and there often a doggo here to meet as you shop. 2 paws up.

Terrible return policy!! Purchased 2 bags of Stella and Chewys treats for my dog. My dogs usually love this brand and I've purchased their raw food and treats for years. When I opened one bag I noticed the treats were extremely hard. My dog had a hard time chewing them, which had never been a problem before. She got sick that night and vomited the treats back up. I returned to the store with the 2 bags of treats and receipt. One bag was unopened and one was opened and missing a couple treats from the bag. I explained my situation to the two associates working that the treats made my dog sick and I wanted a refund for the unopened bag and an exchange for the opened bag. The associate called the manager/owner to ask if they could do the return. I was told that their store policy is no returns allowed. The manager did allow the refund on the unopened bag but would not allow the exchange. I was told to either sell it on Facebook marketplace or "take it up with the distributor because the distributor is more likely to reimburse me than the store". I did reach out to Stella and Chewys and they told me to return to the retailer as I have my receipt and they offer a guarantee to the retailer for reimbursement on returned products that the stores should be upholding. After explaining the situation, Stella and Chewys did say they would mail me a voucher. I had worked in the pet food industry for many years managing a PetValu and I couldn't imagine upholding such a ridiculous policy. I know stores get reimbursed for returns from distributors. I would not shop here again based on the poor customer service. Global Pet Foods on Torbay Rd is a much better option if you want to be valued as a customer. Always had great experiences there.
