The Peter Lewis Gallery is a distinguished and welcoming fine art gallery located in the heart of downtown St. John’s, in one of the city’s beautiful heritage properties. Opened in July 2009, the Gallery celebrates a diverse collection of original works from regionally inspired artists including Peter Lewis, whose impressionistic style details local and international backdrops with unique and vibrant imagination. His vibrant oils and charcoals are often large scale and depict the landscapes from locations in Newfoundland and Labrador, Arizona, Ireland, Italy, France and many more places from where he draws inspiration. As a plein air artist, Peter’s creative style arises from vistas and scenery with powerful composition and rich colour.
Peter Lewis’ work is just insane, he has captured every aspect of life, seascape and landscapes in such a way that you are literally drawn to his art work. If you love art galleries, then this is definitely a must see.
