Hi there,i went at staples at 13 december 2024 around 6pm
So i ask them to print a important document for me then a boy ask me to wait in line and they will charge 3$ then i waited there about 20mins in line.After that around 60 year old lady came and she said that she has kots of people so she cant help me and give me papers to how to use self service and i was in a hurry.A canadian lady was sawing everything so she also ask old lady to help me but she started screaming after that i called there manager and she also started shouting in very high tone at me in front of everyone without any reason and i said am gonna conplaint you then sue said u can’t do anything so i had to go another staple and they did it only in 2 minutes.So i was totally frustrated with that old lady and the half mind manager.

Worse place to ship a package! I went here to ship a package, the lady working made a mistake, and I noticed out in my car. I was gone for 2 minutes and went back in to get it fixed. She said I had to wait in line again, when I said I was just here and it was her mistake, she still said I had to wait in line. I said it was unacceptable, she made me get a refund and wouldn't ship my package. Worse customer service ever.

I was in a hurry and have used these machines often so I go straight into using the touchscreen without knowing the machine was out of order. I print my papers all come out not "fine" and I have to print again on another machine. If you're going to attach "out of order" paper then please attach it to the touchscreen as well so that people in a hurry don't waste their time. Plus "The copier out of order" sounds like only making copies is not working but the printer is working.

Went to get a very important paper printed off and I've never ever done this before I ask 4 employees to help me and all 3 refused to help me the manager was sat on her butt doing nothing the other girl working straight up said she can't help cause she was busy but she was doing nothing just standing up so then i went to customer services to see if someone there would help me and both of them there said no they couldn't help what kind of customer service do you call that????

The waiting time for service was unreasonably long. When I complained about the picking up issue with my order, the staff's behaviour was unacceptable. Instead of providing a simple explanation, they repeatedly suggested I cancel my order. Also, the store's phone number on the website redirects to Staples.ca, making it impossible to speak directly with the store staff despite numerous attempts. This was the worst experience I've ever had at this store.

Today I went there for Amazon return drop off this address as Purolator website show there provided free label print services even I did it deferent branch of Steples they provided free label print but unfortunately this branch they refused me print label free and very rude behavior their working staff.

If you need to take photos for documents, then this is the worst place for it. Today, as a family of 4, we took photographs here for documents, but unfortunately the photographer took the photographs for three people incorrectly, not following the standard for documents. Before taking the photo, I showed him the size and requirements for the photo, but the photographer said that he had done this many times and knew what he was doing. At my request, two photographs were taken again, and the photo studio employee refused to redo the third photo, citing the decision of his manager. I asked the manager, but he said that we would need to pay extra for the third photo again, that is, twice for one photo..

I shop at staples at Kelsey Drive a lot. Usually happy. But last week I was trying to take a photo for passport purpose. That manager was rude and unreasonable. She didn’t even try to do her job. Staples has this policy that if you want a digital copy you have to bring your own USB. I didn’t bring a USB. So I decided to buy a portable hard drive with the same port as a USB. That manager thought that the new portable hard drive I was gonna buy is not a USB and she refused to server me. I couldn’t talk her through. The worse thing is she never mentioned that I could have a hard copy of my photo at Staples! She really didn’t do her job as a manager. A manager is supposed to help customers and sell the goods, right? She refused to help me, so I didn’t buy that 150$ portable hard drive and I didn’t have my photo taken. I went to Walmart just next to staples to take a photo. How could she do that? She thinks she is the manager and she won’t even try to understand a customer’s request? If she ever told me I can take a photo and have a hard copy of my photo, I wouldn’t have to go to other place. Why that stubborn? I’m still not happy with it even today. Actually every time I though of this. Why dose she have to be that cruel and unreasonable? I feel disrespected that day. Such a bad shopping experience.
Before that , I was trying to talk to her. She was inside the counter talking to a staff who was trying to help me. I was outside the counter. There was physically less that a meter between she and I. I said “ Ma’am, Ma’am,I already I have so many USB drives at home…”She never gave me a glance.there were only she, the staff and I , three people by the counter. I never had a chance to finish my sentence. Didn’t have the chance to bring up that I wanted to buy a hard drive instead .I tried to talk to her when she stepped out of the counter and she completely ignored me. Was it my fault to call her “Ma’am”? I apologize if I should call her “Madam” instead of “Ma’am “Or is it because I’m Asian and she has some discrimination prejudice ?
It’s painful even think of this experience.
Update on June 26, 2024 -- The customer service reached out and apologized, and I accept their apology. There wont be so many complaints if people can listen and talk to each other. Even though you cannot help a customer, they will still be happy and grateful if they know you are trying to help them. It's nice to see there is someone at Staples still cares about the business.
