They would not let me park my car behind the building on the dirt when i was in a car pool, put a letter in my window. I used to buy lunch, gas, beer \\u0026 smokes here. Never went back and that was three years ago.

For being the last truck stop before St Johns you would think a driver would find a spot to park by 6 pm at night but no only dropped trailers here I’ve been setting here and a dozen or more trucks pull in to stop for the night and no place for them so they keep on trucking don’t even stop for coffee

I miss the former Whitbourne Irving Restaurant that was demolished around 2013. But from what I heard from a friend of mine who used to work at the Deer Lake Big Stop, I learned that Irving is drifting away from the traditional restaurants (maybe except for the Big Stops), and contracting out fast food outlets, possibly because it's cheaper, building a new building from scratch, plus Irving wants to focus on its primary product being gasoline.

This Gas Station Is A Wonderful Gas Station. It's My Favorite Gas Station Of All Time, We Stop Here Every Time We're On The Way To St.John's And On The Way Home From St.John's. The Tim Hortons Is Wonderful.

Awesome pit stop on the way to St. John's! The prices and foods available in the gas-bar are awesome! Plus it has a Subway and a Tim Horton's attached as well :)
