“Great experience using this practice for a pre-purchase exam. The ladies doing the scheduling were very nice and kind. We were traveling to see the horse and they assured us it would be no problem to cancel if we didn't want to move forward after riding the horse. Dr. Tom and the young veterinarian with him were very professional and thorough. I felt we could safely trust their impressions of the horse's health. “Can't say enough about Dr. Ioppolo and his staff!! My two 9 month old pups have stayed in the boarding area twice this month in their Saturday night to Sunday afternoon program! The vet techs, Hailey and Rebecca were on both weekends. They could not have been kinder and made me feel so much better about having to leave them! They showed me the area where they would be staying as well as their outside area! The puppies were thrilled to go back the second time! They come home tired but happy, not stressed! “They deserve 100 stars. It is extremely difficult to get a vet out to my area. Even though I'm outside of the area they serve, Dr. Hinson showed her incredible compassion and love for animals in making the drive all the way out to save my 34 year old horse's life during an impaction colic (in the middle of the night). We would have never been able to stabilize him enough to get him off to NC State for surgery if she hadn't made the sacrifice to come for my horse. It was not looking good and all hope seemed to be lost, but she didn't give up on my old boy. Not only did she try everything she could to get him comfortable enough for the trip and miraculously back up on his feet, she also waited probably an hour or more with us until the horse trailer arrived. I've owned him for 21 years, and cannot thank her enough as the reason I still have him with me.
I found myself in another terrifying emergency situation last night, and their on-call vet Dr. Cameron was gracious enough to be ready to come out... again, even though we're so far away and not technically in the area they serve. You can tell with these professionals, they truly see their work as a calling.”
“This hospital is truly AMAZING!!! The staff truly cares about every single patient that walks in there. We came from Fayetteville to bring my cat & dog for their first dental appt, and my cat is super anxious, he not only pooped but peed in his carrier ? While I tried to clean it up and asked them when i was there if I had anywhere that they preferred for me to clean him real quick, the staff literally bathed him and cleaned his carrier AND washed the little bed in there for me ANNNDDD cut my cat and dogs nails. I truly appreciated that so so much, and Adonis appreciated having a smooth ride back home in a clean carrier. They always take good care of my animals <3 This location specifically is filled with staff that just have kind, pure souls!!!!”

After adopting my puppy at 12 weeks and taking her immediately to VCA Whispering Pines Animal Hospital, I knew we were in the right hands. She was so tiny, and I was nervous as a new pet parent — but from that very first visit, the kindness, professionalism, and genuine care shown by the entire team gave me total peace of mind.
Over the past two months, as my puppy has gone through some serious health issues, Dr. Kettlekamp has provided the most compassionate and knowledgeable care I could have hoped for. He always takes time to explain everything in detail, answers all my questions patiently, and makes me feel like my puppy is his top priority.
A heartfelt thank you to Oana, Michelle, Molly, and the rest of the amazing staff (even those whose names I may have missed). Every phone call, visit, and follow-up has been met with warmth, empathy, and incredible support. My puppy is now on a much healthier path because of their dedication.
