I’m beginning to get very frustrated with the pharmacy at this Walgreens. I understand they took on the additional customers from rite aid when they closed some time ago but unfortunately they didn’t take any extra employees to handle the overload. Even after years of getting adjusted to the customer increase they continue to be critically short staffed and unorganized. Certain medications can’t be refilled by any other means but calling the pharmacy directly and that means spending hours upon hours multiple times a month and no matter what you try doing, even opening a live chat with Walgreens customer service, they can’t do anything to get a message through for you and will tell you that you have to call or show up in person. The thing that frustrates me the most is when they know for a fact several days prior that you are getting an authorization done by your doctor, they don’t take the initiative to make sure they have it in stock and then you have to wait even longer. I’m starting to really consider choosing elsewhere if things don’t improve soon.

I’m honestly not sure who runs this store, but they need a change up.
A month ago I requested a refill on a prescription for my son, through the app. It gave me the generic update. I waited and waited for the notification that the prescription was ready (I have the text notifications). No text. No phone call. Nothing. So I went back to the app and it stated that there was an issue with the prescription and that it needed insurance verification (this was not a new prescription). But, fine that may have been an insurance issue. So I waited another day. Disclaimer, my son is completely OUT of the mediation at this point. When I got on the app the refill request for the prescription was gone… like I had never requested it. So, I requested for a refill again. This time there was no insurance issue. A day went by and the request just disappeared again… almost like someone was canceling it and never following up. So, I called this location to speak with pharmacy. Three time someone answered and hung up. I have three you by children and so I usually don’t go in somewhere unless I need to. But, I went up there. After asking the representative to look up the prescription, I told her I attempted to call. She laughed and said that’s a lost cause. That was it… the employee said this. Anyway, she then told me she didn’t see any issue with the prescription and it would be ready in 30 minutes. This was a week after I originally requested the refill.
Fast forward to last week. I needed a refill of my blood pressure medication (I have AFIB and had heart surgery last year). The same thing happened! I attended to request the refill and it vanished like I had never requested it. No call. No text. Needless to say I was over it. I no longer use this pharmacy. I have been using it for 6 years before this.

The absolute, most horribly ran pharmacy. Terrible communication & management and the only consistency they have is being super slow and extremely late (even when they tell you a time) for filling prescriptions. If they are out of stock of your prescription the only way you will find out is when you show up to pick up your order. I’ve explained this to the pharmacist on duty several times and nothing changes. If your going to get your prescription here take a Xanax and Tylenol before you go!!

The pharmacy is TERRIBLE!! They act like they could care less. Rude staff, slow service, and just overall unhelpful. I would go into details but the other reviews speak for themselves. This seems to be normal at this location.

Mocksville Walgreens sent me to Walgreens in Advance for an emergency inhaler, the store said wait an hour for pickup, on the way to the store, there was a tractor, holding up traffic, which delayed my arrival for pick up, but there were still customers in line and I explained the emergency that my son needed an inhaler. And they close the gate to the pharmacy, in my face didn't apologize or anything. This was very unprofessional and very unconsiderate of a person's life. I hope and pray that when your family is in need or has an emergency, someone shows the same compassion that you show me and others today. God Bless, what is America coming to? ?? But have a great lunch break.??

The WORST pharmacy I have ever dealt with. You will wait 30+ minutes to talk to someone if you call, then when they finally answer they do not listen to your issue. I love Walgreens but this pharmacy is a mess!

The worst. I would call in and confirm my prescription is ready drive out there from deep down at the end of Farmington to be told they don’t have it. TAKE THE DRIVE TO FOSTERS IN MOCKSVILLE!! They appreciate your business. This cooperation has gone down! It’s all their locations. Stop supporting this business!!!

The absolute worst on the pharmacy side. Walgreens as a whole. Never in my life have I been to a pharmacy that NEVER has anything in stock. They don’t care if it’s medication that is needed to live, it’s not their problem. Complete disregard. If you know you have prescriptions that are filled EVERY. SINGLE. MONTH. but somehow it’s always out of stock. Why? If you talk to one employee they tell you one thing and then next says oh, I don’t know, I wasn’t here yesterday. What?! You’re dealing with medications that help keep people alive - to do that you should probably try caring a little.

The worst experience. 1, why do you want people to come in for a covid test? 2, what's the point of an appointment if you're not going to try to respect the time.

The pharmacy NEVER answers their phone. I am both a patient and a provider and I can never speak to someone when I call. I called to ask a simple question and was on hold for over an hour before someone finally answered. When you go in, there are plenty of staff members working so there isn't truly a reason they ignore a phone ringing for an hour! If you're the manager, maybe you should intervene....The photo lab is also an issue. I have ordered photos via the app and then when I arrive, nobody has printed them for hours so you have to wait for someone to acknowledge the order and then print them. I know everywhere is understaffed, but if you own the building or are a manager, it's your responsibility to be there at the end of the day.

Walgreens is almost impossible to call. The drive-up window is not staffed. The lines are usually long inside inside.
