The Tomahawk Throwing Range & Blade Shop brings the sport of axe throwing and the World Axe Throwing League to Albemarle. It offers a fun night out or a cheap, easy activity for parties. Guests throw premium, hand-forged tomahawks, hatchets, knives, stars, and shovels instead of cheap imported hatchets. The atmosphere is awesome, very family-friendly, and much friendlier than alternatives. The owner provides personal attention, individual lessons, and help with throwing technique for all skill levels. The place has a great atmosphere with good music, plus pool and cornhole. Beer and drinks are available. It is the only axe throwing place to consider in Stanly County and was in Albemarle first. Customers recommend it highly, noting it is cheaper and a better experience than other venues. Many plan to return weekly. A tomahawk throwing league is available to join, and memberships save money for frequent visitors. It is an all-around great experience.

We had a great time! Garrett was really nice and even came back and met us after closing when we realized we left our phone. Great environment! Our whole family enjoyed it! We'll definitely be back!

June 6, 2026 went for first time with a great friend. Had a blast!! Really enjoyed it!! Kinda good at it also lol….Should really check it out! Gonna do a ladies group night….beer, ladies and axes…. Can’t wait 😁
