“The owner is SO kind, helpful, and has such a sweet heart to give back to the community. I don’t have little kids anymore, but the toy exchange she does for children is precious to see. Prices are very reasonable, store is clean, and theres a wide variety of items.”
“LOVE This place! Been here twice now and both times were welcomed nicely. The first time we accidentally showed up just before closing and did a speed run of the store; the employees greeted us as usual and didn't rush us at all. Lots of great booths selling clothes, antiques and vintage items, home decor, jewelry, an entire room of baby and littles items, and even an entire shelf of jeans for women! Lots of items too look at and a welcoming atmosphere.”
“really great store with lots of good high quality products priced very cheaply, i deducted a star only because i was sold a fake “Labubu” yet was told it was real. I would’ve still bought it fake or not i just dont appreciate being lied to my face.”
“Awesome family-owned place that is always giving back to the community! We love going to visit Miss Tina and seeing all the amazing goodies she has. Her items are always very organized, clean, and fairly priced. Our son gets so excited to go every time we tell him we are going to Lillington. Whether it is Saturday sidewalk giveaways, free clothes, or free baby formula— the owner of this store is so kind. Just one example: our special needs kiddo’s bubble blower broke last fall, which he had a difficult time with. Well, he happened to see the exact one in the Blue Monkey store window the week before. I called to see if it was still there… it was but it was her store’s personal bubble blower for events- bummer. She said she had a bubble gun instead that she would hold for us. When I came to get it, she ended up GIVING us her store bubble blower and bubbles for our son! I tried to decline but she insisted. Truly, the sweetest person! Our son was so surprised and grateful. We truly appreciate this business and the integrity and values they represent for the community.”
“The organization at these stores is absolutely mind boggling! Not to mention the fact everyone is alwayssss so so so nice!!! We found some true gems here!! Name brand items in good condition! Thank you!”
“The treasures are mixed in with the junk. And each person’s junk is potentially another person’s treasure. The staff at this thrift store work diligently to keep the donations organized and clearly priced. For the shoppers who enjoy the “hunt” experience, this store provides for both needs and whimsical addictions. The inventory is always in flux, and the store ( and its sister stores in the area) meets needs of many in the community. It is the place to go to look for play props and costumes, toys for visiting grandchildren, an occasional kitchen gadget, or a vintage end table. Surprises arrive every day.”
“Pretty decent kids thrift shop next to a larger thrift store. I went looking for girls size 3/4 and 6/7 and found quite a few things. They did a buy 6 get 2 free deal on clothing which definitely made me purchase more!
There were a few cool furniture pieces and toys, but maybe more geared towards babies and toddlers for the toys.”
“Best thrift store in NC. The owner truly has some hidden gems in this store. Great pricing and respectful.Strongly recommend, he will have items in here like GameCubes, Power Tools, Bicycles, etc.He has yet to not have anything that I have come looking for.”
“We dropped off items here and they took everything we had!!! We had a small suv full of boxes and they took it all!! I talked with two gals and a guy. They gals were super friendly and nice. The guy was very helpful.”
“I wrote my previous post in anger.
Though I think they could have been nicer about my attempt to donate my wife's kitchen equipment, I don't think it's fair to fully judge this place based upon that.”
“We love to go thrifting and this store really does have it all. Paintings, living room decor, furniture, clothing, books, pet supplies, bridal gowns, workout equipment, jewelry…anything you can imagine. The best part is that it is SUPER organized and very, very clean. Oh, and all proceeds go to researching Alzheimer’s, an extra bonus. Drop by!!”
“Quick and easy drop-off for donations. Prices don't seem too bad for clothes in 2026 but I don't shop at thrift stores much so take it as you will. Non-clothing prices seems meh. Not much of a bargain.”
“What a treasure to find! I had a nasty cold, but saw something on the FB page that I needed. I contacted the owner and she was easy to work with. I felt like she went above and beyond to help. I will definitely be shopping there again!”
