I gave one star because the place is clean. You always take off cracked acrylic and replace with a new tip. You don’t overlay with more acrylic. Then the color I picked turned from blue to green blue. I was told it was old polish. I wanted to change it before they did more nails, but the owners wife stepped in, and took over. She never even looked at me and asked if I liked it or not. They both knew it was my first time there. Did not care to try to earn business or return business. I can’t believe it! They charged me $40 for a color I did not want! Why should I go back?? I have no issue with the cost , but I should love the color. After the first nail, I said it was too green, unlike the sample nail. They were unfriendly and seemed like it was too bad for me! Please go elsewhere.

Immediately felt uncomfortable when I walked in and was greeted with a disgusted sigh but I wanted my acrylics removed. The man and woman there both took turns looking at my nails and talking about them in another language and then the woman angrily unrolled a towel and slapped some tools on the table. I'm not sure if the tools were clean but after being stabbed with them twice I told her that if I knew they were going to pry the nails off with a knife and pliers then I could have my husband do that at home. Cue her slamming of her tools around and going to get some what I hope was acetone but because she had broken my skin, I didn't stick around to find out. I offered to pay but they wouldn't let me. I then went home and removed the nails the correct way but most of the damage had already been done. I felt so embarrassed not wanting to stay because my in laws live near by but honestly I was concerned with the cleanliness of the place and it wasn't worth it to me. Her lack of knowledge on how to properly take care of nails and the lazy attitude of wanting to scroll on her phone when a paying customer shows up makes me think it's a money laundering front but who knows.

I visited the Apex Nail salon when new management took over. I was not happy with the service but decided I would revisit after more than a year absence. I live close and would love the convenience. I could be mistaken but I thought I recognized the technician as the person who had done my nails before. More to the point though, the nail technician seemed rushed taking into account that me and one other person were being serviced. Her work was "sloppy" at best. Streaks left on the nails, cuticles were left a mess, corners of nails left unpolished. Disastrous experience with manicure and pedicure. Yes, I gave her a tip which I regret doing. I didn't see the full extent of her work until I sat under the dryer. Money wasted-went straight away to another salon. However, before I left, I told her that her work was very sloppy. That was the very first time I saw her face light up with a smile.

Was hoping to continue going here but the gel polishes are not lasting more than a week, week and a half at most! Too expensive to pay that much. I loved that they were never busy but they seem in a rush to get you in and out and the quality shows.

I went here for the first time March 24th for a pedicure. I did not have an appointment, but I called ahead of time and asked if I could come in and was told yes. When I did get there I felt rushed to pick a polish and get my feet in the water. The whole process seemed rushed. I noticed the polish coming off 9 days later. I called and asked what a reasonable time for pedicure to last. He said 2 was ( I heard at least 3). He seemed annoyed that I asked. He was also not eager to rectify my concern. He ended up telling me to come in today to get my toes “touched” up. No need for me to go back ever with that attitude. Very disappointing.Service: Pedicures

Great service. They were patient with me as, I don't get manicures or full sets often, so I had questions.

I had never had my nails done before so my friends took me for my birthday this week. The owners were super accommodating to our large group and very kind. I appreciated them explaining everything to me as I told them it was my first time having my nails done. I got a french manicure for a great price and the owner gave me a discount for it being my first time in. Would highly recommend and I'll be back soon!
