A great, no BS experience. Ryan is friendly, honest, and straight to the point. I was scheduled in a reasonable timeframe and in and out in exactly the amount of time he told me. They even let me know when I didn’t need something replaced, saving me several hundred dollars. Will be back.

I started having trouble with my GMC Acadia and took it to Apex Transmission. I cannot recommend them enough! SUPER honest business. I began having trouble with the car's transmission and was told by the dealership that the transmission needed to be replaced and that it would cost $6,600. Distraught because I was litterally only 3 months from paying the car off, I reached out to a friend who works in the auto industry and he highly recommended Apex Transmission. Apex Transmission took care of my family's car and for a fraction of the cost. Ryan was super helpful with the information he provided. We live 30-45 minutes away, but Apex Transmission has earned a forever customer after this experience!

I just realized recently it had been over a month since I took my car to Apex Transmission and hadn't yet posted my experience. Not burying the headline: They are phenomenal. The real deal.
My 2013 Toyota 86 had blown its throw out bearing, and not wanting to tackle this in my garage, I looked for a shop to repair it. Also pop in a new clutch, and give me a fair estimate of any additional items that needed to be fixed. To be fair I had a "Karen-esque" laundry list of requests when it was all said and done.
Not only did they stick to their cost estimates, but also did an OUTSTANDING job with the clutch/bearing work. They are straight with the customer and gave me honest evaluations. I cannot say enough good things about them. Huge thanks to Ryan and team for everything.
The car drives like new, and I appreciate everything they do. If you care about your car, THIS is the shop you've been looking for.

The best around from top to bottom. We had some transmission issues with our 2015 Ford Expedition. We needed a torque converter and come to find out a vac pump. They were honest and ended up saving me $ down the road. Be sure to ask for Ryan!

I was referred to Apex Transmissions from another mechanic in the area who was unable to perform the necessary service on my car. Their team fit me in same day and was very helpful & accommodating. Once they had a diagnosis, Ryan walked me through my options and provided his honest recommendation: due to my car's high mileage and the number of presenting concerns, he felt that it made the most financial sense not to move forward with the repairs. Though this recommendation cost him business, he didn't want me to throw money away by repairing a car with little value. Despite my disappointment about my car, I was really thankful for his transparency. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for a friendly & trustworthy business to bring your car to.

My Tahoe’s transmission went out on me literally a mile away from the Chevy dealership on hwy 64 and 5 miles from Apex Transmission. I called Chevy and asked for a breakdown of the process to replace but got the impression that the tech I spoke to was just checking the boxes with his responses.
“Yea it will be new but same parts” “ yeah theres a problem with the metal used but hopefully the transmission doesn’t use the same metals”. Not really reassuring to me.
I googled transmission repair and Apex transmission popped up. I called and spoke with Ryan. First things first, the level of technical proficiency he has related to transmissions was impressive. I ended up limping my Tahoe over to Apex transmission solely because of the phone conversation with Ryan.
Having someone explain the benefits of better parts rather than a transmission swap was the deal sealer for me.
It took a bit longer than expected but got the Tahoe back. While it was there they also looked at some other things for me and took care of those.
After picking it up there were some codes that were still popping up and rather than Apex Transmission dismissing them as not their issue because of these performance parts, Ryan was committed to getting my ride right.
It’s always easy to dismiss customers concerns with mechanical jargon, or “that’s how it is”, but what separates good companies from bad ones is the pride that they take in their work and their commitment to their craft regardless of cost. Dumping money into your car isn’t a good feeling especially if you don’t feel it’s fixing a problem but dumping money into that same car when you have the confidence it was done right like they did is priceless.

They were amazing, when I went to drop off my truck that just lost 2 gears, I got there right when they were closing, Dan the owner stayed back just to make sure I'm checked in and the vehicle is properly dropped off. Very friendly and helpful. Afterwards I dealt with Ryan who was also great, very friendly and helpful, he was able to tell me everything as it needed to be and didn't try to push for anything more, made sure I was comfortable with the other items my truck has issues with (most of the work I perform myself, just can't rebuild a transmission or engine).Honestly highly recommended, and their prices were the cheapest of all the places I called.

Angie is a two faced clown! I would call her a lot worse but out of respect for Danny I won’t , she’s a very smart woman and very Shystie I worked for them for years she took my tax money. I ended up having to pay them because she intentionally messed up my taxes, and then went on a vacation with her timeshare on my dollar I was fired over something I didn’t do and after all these years, I still hold a grudge, because I had a very good relationship and home with Danny , I can’t speak for their work nowadays, but I can speak years ago I was robbed by Angie so customers beware expect a mark up somewhere. Somehow they have to pay for their vacations somehow. Well Angie anyways she wears the pants in the house. Sincerely yours disgruntled employee, Mr LaRose
