My phone locked up this afternoon to the extent that I wasn’t unable to even turn it off. I went to the AT&T Store in the Beaver Creek Commons area of Apex,NC to get some assistance. Chris was kind enough to come over and within a minute had it back up running again. Great customer service and he got me out of a bind. I can’t say enough good things about Chris and taking the time to help me.

I worked with Lexis at the Apex location and she was GREAT! I wanted to switch from Verizon to FirstNet with AT&T and she helped me do that and get a new phone in like 2 hours tops from start to end. She was super kind and nice to talk to, and very knowledgeable about both the process and the products. I'd definitely ask for Lexis if I had to go there again!

We worked with Shy at the North Hills store and she was fantastic! She made our experience great despite running into some technical issues. She explained our options, helped us make changes, and navigated us through switching to FirstNet. We couldn’t have done it without her!

Sunday December 22nd: not sure his name but was trying to get him to help us and he was being extra rude. I tried to explain It was bad communication and he continued to be rude so I left and said I do not want this service. Going to be switching services because of the way I was treated tonight.

This store is infested with liars, charlatans, and incompetent, poorly trained associates whose only goal is to steal your money by any means possible. If you value honesty, integriy, and quality customer service, stay away from this store, its supervisors, and its associates.
The supervisor's only real power is giving empty promises in the hopes that you'll be strung along for long enough that you have no choice but to suffer the consequences of their criminality.
If there were ever a case for breaking up Ma Bell all over again, this store would be the prime example brought to Congress to justify why.
I implore you to stay away and if you're currently a customer, I'd highly recommend you leave them.

Worst customer service from the staff. I been to this store 3 times in past 1 week. First 2 times to transfer from prepaid to postpaid account and third time to upgrade my phone. The staff made it difficult to make sure I don’t get the help I need. I was told they can’t convert from prepaid to post paid and asked me to call customer service. I called from the store and made them talk to customer service and I made sure they did it. It was like I was forcing them to do their job. Second time when I went to upgrade my phone they said they can only upgrade if I purchase insurance and protection service for $28 per month extra. Then I drove to ATT Holly Springs because they are Authorized Retailer. I figured ATT corporate store customer service agents are lazy and not interested to do their job. They just want their free money / salary without helping customers.
ATT - Holly Springs helped with my upgrade request in 5 minutes. I asked what’s the difference here? Why this store is all in for customer service than the Apex store and I got to know it was Authorized Retailer store and Apex one is the Corporate store. Don’t waste time by going at this location. ATT Apex store had 5 employees with worst customer service and ATT Holly Springs had only 1 employee with Excellent customer service.
Go to ATT - Holly Springs or Fuqua Authorized Retailers store and you will thank me later!

These stores don't exist to help you in any way, understand that before you go. The store exists as a sales channel for the company. Anything you try to do at this store that does not contribute to the generation of revenue will either be flatly refused, or made into a huge pain for you.
Want to go with AT&T, because of their network or technology? My recommendation, just do everything online and on the phone. If you're not good with that, then you better pick a company with a customer service focus because AT&T does not have that, at least in their stores.
Read through the reviews for this store, other stores, Reddit, wherever and you'll see the same themes over and over again.
Its not that the staff are bad people. You have a job, I have a job, they have a job. They have to do their job in the way that the people above them tell them to or they have consequences, just like you do, I do, everyone does. Hopefully you are lucky, as I am lucky, to work in a position for a company that takes pride in what they do, what they produce, and how they interact with customers. Understand going into this store or any other AT&T store, they do not take the same pride in providing excellent customer service that you are going to be expecting them to take. It isn't in their directive. Their directive is to make money for the company, not do things that potentially take money away from the company.
You will find two types of employees at AT&T's stores. First, people who just need a job, have been there about 2 weeks, and won't be there in another two weeks because the work environment sucks, who wants to be forced to enforce silly policies all day that makes no sense? Who wants to try and upsell people all day on electronic crap and useless services on top of what they want that they don't need? Its a terrible job. The other type are people who thrive in that environment and it is their thing, they've probably been there forever and may retire there. I don't understand those people but it takes all types to move the world right? Either way, neither employee is going to help you if they think its going to impact their central mission.
The call center isn't guided by this same set of directives in the same way. The call center will help you and you can get what you need from them, however, you have to be willing to do your business over the phone, or over chat, and be willing to wait on and trust the process of shipping things back and forth. Again, if this isn't for you, you need to pick a different cell provider.
With any luck I will never set foot in this store again. Like I said, I don't think the employees there are bad people, they just have a bad job and I honestly and truly feel badly for them.

Siera H. Is absolutely terrible, she’s mean, rude, short, unprofessional, and uninformed on the products she’s trying to sell for Apple and AT&T. When asked about shipping times, where phones can be shipped, how much things cost her response was “look I don’t know I just work here.” Siera seems completely uninterested in helping customers and finding solutions to very basic problems. Siera has a bad and judgmental attitude, and outright lied about how much billing increases would be once we signed. She needs to be terminated.
