It took 2 weeks to order my tires. I never received a call, but when I called, they coincidentally had "just arrived". I dropped my vehicle off around 9am to install 2 tires, do an alignment and an inspection. I never got a call when it was finished. I called at 4:30pm and it was still waiting for an alignment. When I showed up at 6pm it was sitting out front. The shop took 9 hours to complete this work. However, when I tried to register my vehicle, I came to find they had not actually done the inspection but charged me for it anyway. When I called to complain, I was told the manager would call me back, but they never did. I never received a paper copy of the inspection report or the alignment report. I am left wondering if they actually did that either. I am very unsatisfied now. I am giving 2 stars because the tires were actually installed.

Can’t comment on the quality of work but the customer service is poor. Appointment at 11 for an alignment and get 2 tires mounted and balanced. At drop off Mark said they wouldn’t mount the tires because they didn’t have the stickers on them. I get it I have run into this before at other big box tire stores. Didn’t offer to inspect them, no explanation of the policy. So I said do the alignment only, I have a lifetime alignment on the car. I called 2 hrs later and they said it hadn’t been started yet so i picked the car up. No sorry, and once again no explanation, therefore no good review. I guess because I am not actually buying anything I’m not a priority.

While the original problem was found. The only solution is new tires, ok fair enough. However when I went to get into my vehicle, it wouldn’t start. I brought the car in for a tire issue. This made no sense, I had zero battery issues or indicators when I dropped the car off. The tech told me I *might* have a bad battery cell EVEN THOUGH the battery test came back green and the battery is less than a year old. Once the techs checked my car out again, somehow they got it started (didn’t tell me how) and then I was told “should be good to go” when I asked, what if I get home and the next time I try to start my car, it won’t? I was told “well take it to where you got the battery and have them check it but you should be good” again, no real explanation and the tech constantly talked over me. Very much a bad experience and felt like “you don’t know what you’re talking about so I’m going to talk over you”

Typically a good group. This time I had 4 new tires and an alignment. However, when I got home, the front left tire area was leaking fluid.
I went back in and it was identified as my rack and pinion steering was leaking. It happened right after the visit, so very noticeable. I read online that an alignment can break the seals on the rack and pinion, which is probably what happened.
I called back and they don't do seals and offered no help on the leak at all. Took no responsibility for it either. very disappointing.
I have been going there for 20 years- I'm done.

Staff was pushy to try and sell me on extra service. I checked oil in car before I visited and they claimed it was "super low" and tried multiple times to sell me on an oil change when i had one 500miles ago. Alignment sucks and pulls to the right. Front left tire has a tapping sound when braking and the cabin filter cover is broken. Trim around wheel well was loose after tire change. I will never set foot inside a Firestone location ever again

Never again will I use this place for service of any vehicle. Brake job done and had to go back 6 times for same problem. Last visit manager said there was nothing else to do and don't bring it back. And now again it has the same problem!! Not a good place for vehicle service folks.

Took my car to get the tire checked cause clearly it had been going flat on me and I need to stop for air often. I waited there for them to finally take a look at it. On my turn , they said they found nothing wrong with it and tomorrow I will be taking the car to another mechanic because they didn’t care about taking care of the reason it keeps going flat. IM SHOCKED AND HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED! Also they needed a piece to unlock my tire and it was in my trunk .. I had no idea about what it was.. but I assumed it was there. I had 2 cases of water in the trunk and 2 big guys couldn’t help me remove them to look under where the step tire is for the unlock piece. Meaning, they aren’t considering people. They could have helped me! Luckily I found what they were looking for. Not gentleman’s at all. I wish I could remember their names.

I have been a loyal Firestone customer for over 25 years, and it has come to an end. I told everyone at the shop that doing anything to the left front of the vehicle was going to do nothing for the vibration, which was caused when my wife hit a curb with the RIGHT FRONT almost a year ago. They all insisted the sensors were saying the vibration was coming from the left front and I was wrong. Now that they're proven wrong (the $500 fix did nothing), they're not taking responsibility and want me to bring it in and spend more money. I told them they were lucky I was coming to them at all because they're the closest Firestone to me at 40 miles, and I wasn't going to make that trip for bad service. All the other places I've lived have had multiple locations within a few miles, not sure why there isn't a single store in Moore County, NC.
Update 12/19/24 - I rec'd a call from the store Manager Mark, asked me to bring the car back in so he could fix it. The experience was even worse than the first time. Once again Mark didn't listen to what I had to say when I dropped it off. He called me that afternoon to tell me he balanced the tire and it was all set. When I got to the store, I planned to remind him that on the first visit I explained the sequence of events was wife hits curb, noise starts, bring to dealer, they fix shock mount, no change, tires rotated, no change, new balanced tires put on all 4, no change, tires rotated again, no change. Why would he expect balancing the tire an additional time to make the noise go away. When I got to the store Mark was rude, so I decided I've had enough of this jackass and left. I sent an email to "Bryan" as suggested in Firestone's reply to my original posting (see below), and they ghosted me. At the Firestone Store I went to before moving here, the Manager introduced me to his Regional Manager as his "best customer", because we treated each other with respect and he got the reviews he deserved, bad mouthing a place for no reason is not my MO.
Update 12/29/24 - Still no response from Firestone Customer Service.

Shady company and people. They suggest unnecessary repairs. Costed me $1900 for calipers, rotors, break pads, and supposedly lifetime free rotation(I specifically asked for it to be removed but to my surprise it stayed on the bill). Find another trusted company. Auto service industry is crooked.

I brought my commercial, Ford F-150 to you guys because of a check engine light. The problem was a damper, behind the radiator, not opening properly. The final bill for fixing it (at Crossroads Ford in Apex) came to approximately $1700. I left my truck with you for a full week. During which time, you supposedly found over $7000 worth of BS, that you tried to get my servicing company, Emkay, to pay for. Emkay told me to pick up my truck & never take it to Firestone. This is the first of many social media outlets that I plan on giving you a truthful review. You guys are nothing but rip off artist.

absurd prices work on your car yourself I made a review 10 months ago I still feel the same way, to put it in perspective. This place made me learn to work on my car myself.

I would not recommend going here unless its an emergency. Despite printing out the details of the tires and specific rebate we wanted and showed it to them, they put on a different tire model of the same brand. And they didn't apply the rebate so we were charged full price and had to go back and get the charges adjusted. Still have the wrong tires on but not worth the hassle of changing them.
We also had a check engine light and after spending over $1k they still didn't fix it and the check engine light was still on. They said to drive it around and it should go off. It didn't. Took the vehicle to a reputable mechanic and they said the work Firestone did to solve the problem was not done correctly. New mechanic solved the problem quickly and we were on our way. Firestone has a good location but thats about it.

Just a plain sorry bunch here. My car was pulling to the side and tires wearing excessively. I asked this Firestone store to check my alignment. They recommended and adjusted the alignment which didn't solve my problem. I later had a "real" mechanic look at it and diagnosed a bad lower control arm with failed bushing. Mechanic said anyone performing an alignment should have easily noticed the problem and advised to have it repaired prior to an alignment service. Looking at this store's reviews it looks like I'm not the only one who this happened to. Avoid headaches and wasted money associated with the amateur/sorry service here and take your car to someone who knows what they are doing, cares about their work and treats customers right. I'm not coming back here for anything.

Wasted my money on lifetime alignment! Got my truck aligned five weeks ago. My tires are wearing very bad on the outside and are not straight anymore. Something has came loose or moved have went to three locations trying to get them to look at it and fix it and they all say they are too busy, even made an appointment for me they were too busy to drop off the vehicle. So I wasted my money on the alignment and now I got to buy two new front tires due to their alignment
