After going to a local tire shop near me, I had a hard time finding a place that would perform an alignment on my Tesla Model 3. Though this place was out of the way, they did a great job with my vehicle.Becca walked me through everything. They were very courteous and kept me informed through my entire service visit. The concierge driver, Country, also drove me to Holly Springs to run a few errands while I waited for my car to finished being services. If you're looking for a great mechanic shop, I totally recommend them!

You're in good hands at Chapel Hill Tire. Any time I need my car serviced, this is my go to shop. They're always SO KIND not only in the shop but over the phone as well. They provide honest feedback, service suggestions, while giving thorough explanations, making it easy to trust that they're doing what's best for your vehicle. They also have an awesome Tire Protection Plan. 10/10 recommend.

Saw the favorable comments and gave Chapel Hill on Laura Duncan a try. Had an awesome experience. My two right tires were giving me trouble. After dealing with this long-term and seeing two other businesses who couldn't help. They advised to replace the four, it was time to let go. Was advised to use Michelin AWs. It's made a huge difference in the performance and road noise . Service was quick, everyone was very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back with our vehicles.

Great first and second experience. Dave was knowledgeable, transparent and prompt in communications. Had 4 new tires and batttery installed on my wife’s SUV, and just had 4 AT tires installed on my Jeep. Both vehicles riding and driving great. Will use them again.

I had a small squeal in my left front wheel of my 2018 F150 that I felt was fairly new back in early July. It was actually probably there for a while as the only time I heard it was slow speed light breaking with the windows open. Not something you do very often. Moderate to heavy breaking did not produce the condition. So, early July 2023, I brought my F150 into the Chapel Hill Tire on Raleigh Road in Apex, NC to have a look. They are very close to my house and figured I would give them the business. After inspecting my vehicle, they produced a list of a bunch of items including needing REAR pads and rotors, a leaking front left strut, and other minor cabin filter and oil change related items. Nothing on the front pads or brakes was mentioned. I was convinced by Chapel Hill Tire that the noise was coming from the left rear, even though I was pretty sure the noise was coming from the front. My vehicle only had 49,000 miles on it and I'm not doing a lot of braking like a mail delivery person. I do mostly highway driving, so I was pretty shocked that I needed brakes so early. I asked the girl writing me up what the wear was, often times the dealership will tell you that you have X mm of pad left so you maybe have a chance to change your braking habits. She said 'well, typically when you get down to 5 or so, you need near pads and rotors'. When pressed what MY PADS were, she kept given me a non-answer by saying what they typically are. I'm not an idiot, I've worked on cars before, changed my oil in the day, but was made to believe they knew what they were doing. So, I paid the $880 for the repair hoping that the noise would stop. But, it didn't. I had things come up, life got in the way, but the noise was still there. Low speeds, driving in front of the grocery store with the window open and braking you could hear it. I thought maybe it was some sort of a break in period for the new brakes. So, finally, made time to get the vehicle back in early December 2023. I was charged another $37.50 for a brake inspection (like they did in July with nothing applied to my overall repair like other shops do) and they determined I needed a left front wheel bearing at $650. I figured they had done a more thorough inspection and actually narrowed it down to the front left which I thought the sound was coming from in the first place. I got a text later in the afternoon that the vehicle was done. I drove off and the next day, of course, I still heard the noise. I called them immediately and asked if I could come in and have a tech drive with me to hear the noise since apparently no road test was ever done the other times the vehicle has been there. The manager of the store met me and I let him drive the vehicle and described the driving condition needed to reproduce. During the test drive, he jammed on the brakes and was unable to reproduce saying the slight noise was probably the bad strut when the weight of the car leans on the strut. I said 'no, you need to feather the brake and listen for a light squeal in the left front, please open the driver window'. He finally did this and was shocked that he was able to reproduce the noise. After another 1/2 day in the shop, I got my car back in the afternoon. It was explained that the original problem was a shim was missing from my left brake pad. So, its highly likely I paid over $1500 for items I never needed. My effort to give business to a local establishment likely burned up in my face a bit. I feel taken, I feel like I should have brought my car to the dealership in the first place. I'm giving 2 stars only because I'm happy I wasn't charged a 3rd 37.50 for a brake inspection and I'm happy that the manager Benjamin got involved to fix it properly at no final charge. I mean, they had full access to my vehicle to take all of the brakes off and inspect fully. So, they missed this root cause because they were either lazy or inexperienced at properly test driving and trouble shooting.

Great first experience. My wife's SUV picked up a screw in one of her tire sidewall. We needed 4 new tires at that point, so after much research, CHT had what I was looking for. Easily booked online appt through their website. Dave also reached out and offered a slightly more cost effective alternative that was comparable to what I selected. They mounted and balanced 4 tires, installed new battery, and accomodated my request to have the car ready by lunch. Dave was friendly, knowledgeable, and transparent with their pricing and services. Will use them again.

I needed 2 new tires but don’t know anything about cars. I didn’t know if I need 2, 4 or rotation? So I called and spoke with Becca right at 4:00 (which is when they close). She stayed on the phone with me and I never felt rushed, she answered all of my questions and helped me get the process started. When it was time to drop off the car David helped me figure out how many tires I needed, found those tires and was able to get the tires I wanted for a great competitive price as well completed within 9 hours. Now I can walk home from there location but they were very upfront about the timeline. My last expletive at another tire place they never gave me a time line and I was sitting there all day long I love this places customer service, their honesty and their prices. If you are in the apex area. Please visit these guys. It was one of the best car experiences I have ever had. And we ALL know that is some what rare.Thank you chapel hill tire.Service: Tires

Chapel Hill Tire Apex really looked out for me when installing wheels and tires on my truck. I had to leave for a trip, they got me in first and out first to get me on my way. They are also take care of my other maintenance items on the truck. I’ve also used Chapel Hill Tire in Raleigh, but the Apex one is my favorite.Services: Tires

Always great service. Went twice for tires. Turnaround time is amazing and they send you reports with other possible tuneups and severity without pressuring you to get them done at the moment. Great service.Service: Tires

Super professional business. They do a very good job of trying to give a white glove experience when it comes to the overview/service reports they do no matter what you come in for. It’s definitely an upsell play but they aren’t pushy. Quick service done professionally. Can’t beat it.

Will be using Chapel Hill Tire again for sure! Only took about 45 minutes for my oil change and they were short staffed that morning. Clean, quiet waiting area. Loved the alerts on my phone showing where my car was at in the process! I really like the online checklist of everything they did and any suggestions they had for future services. The pictures of the tires showing the tread wear was my favorite because I worry about my tires after hydroplaning one time. Thank you Chapel Hill Tire!
